My name is Ellie and I am in charge at Vets4Pets Falmouth no matter what anyone else thinks. You may see me trying to sneak into consulting rooms to get snacks. I like to do ward rounds once our in-patients have gone home and clean up any food that might be left behind. Yum.  I specialise in weird and wonderful diseases and enjoy my many trips to Bristol Vet School. So far I've met the Ophthalmology team, the neurological team, the orthopaedic team and the soft tissue surgery team. I'm working on meeting everyone in the fullness of time...

I graduated from Edinburgh (Royal Dick Veterinary College) in 1992. I have been privileged to have worked in a wide variety of different types of small animal practice, including RSPCA, university first opinion and private practices. I have a passion for giving the best client care that I can and strive to offer the level of service that I would want for my own pet. I am incredibly fortunate in working with a fantastic team who are key in helping me deliver that vision. The opportunity arose to become a joint venture partner with Vets4Pets and now I am turning my dreams into reality. In my spare time I enjoy coxing pilot gig boats and am a member of Falmouth Gig Club. Pilot gigs are beautiful 32 foot long wooden boats that are rowed by a crew of six and are so named because they would take pilots out to incoming vessels 'back in the day'. Nowadays they are used for racing or exploring the hidden creeks of the Fal. I unwind by reading and gardening.

I grew up on the sunny shores of the Seychelles, South Africa. I qualified in 2014 and worked in SA before making the move to the UK in 2017. I've spent over half of my career working as an emergency vet but enjoy working with wildlife too.

In my spare time, I'm a water sports enthusiast. I enjoy swimming, surfing, music festivals and anything that gets me outdoors.

My name is Trish, short for Patricia, and I am originally from Catalunya and Argentina. But don’t be fooled, I lose all my Spanish tan in the English winter.

My passion is the ocean and giving a voice to those who don’t have one. This is why I qualified from my Graduate Degree in Veterinary Medicine in Spain, Zaragoza, in 2016/17 with a research thesis on Marine Mammal Reproduction. I worked with marine mammals and sea turtles for 7 years of my professional life in Spain, Mexico and the Galapagos islands and I was lucky enough to speak about my work in international congresses. One of them was in the South of England, which made me fall in love with Devon and Cornwall.

Alongside marine conservation medicine experience, I have worked all over the UK (from West Midlands to Essex, Bristol and Cornwall) with small animals and horses, landing in Cornwall in 2021 after gaining experience in small animal anaesthesia, medicine, emergencies and surgery.

I am a proud Cornwall adopted child and I am grateful to be able to say here is my home. In my free time I am trying to finish my yoga teacher training course and love going on walks to try spot some cows. They are my favourite! I love all things plant-based (but not exclusively) and I am easily enticed to play any ocean  related sports, especially in the sunshine.

I graduated as a registered nurse in 2017 from Hartpury college. Since qualifying I have worked in referral, emergency and general practices around South Wales.

I joined Vets4Pets recently after making the move to Cornwall to be close to the stunning coastline. One of my main interests in practice is emergency care and I am currently studying towards a certificate qualification in this.

Outside of work I love exploring beaches and seaside towns with my two cheeky rescue Yorkies.

I am a dedicated veterinary nurse with over 20 years of experience. I joined the amazing team at Vets4Pets summer 2023.

Before coming to Cornwall I was part of the team at the RSPCA as a theatre supervisor, in charge of the running of the surgeries and leading the team. Here at Vets4Pets I am involved in the training of the next generation of Veterinary nurses as a clinical coach. I enjoy helping to support student Veterinary Nurses through their training.

The highlight of my day is comforting and nursing inpatients; it is rewarding to be involved in their recovery and seeing them go home happy and well.

I have always had a love of animals they give us so much joy and are a big part of the family. I had cat’s growing up and this had strengthened my desire to make working with animals my profession.

I have a very sweet little Chihuahua and two gorgeous cats that I took home when I was working for the RSPCA. They are loving despite having had a sad start in life.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach walking behind my fast three legged Chihuahua, I am also currently training to be a personal trainer on the side because I enjoy all thing fitness.

I love caring for animals and advocating for them, I strive to provide the best possible care for all of my patients and clients, I know that visiting the vets can be a stressful time and I hope that the clients I help leave with a peace of mind and understanding of how to get their little companion back to their best!

I am currently studying Veterinary Nursing at the Duchy Collage in Rosewarne. I have been a carer in my early professional life, and becoming a veterinary nurse always seemed unattainable. It all snowballed on me after being very lucky and privileged to have spent time working on behalf of the Government of Ecuador protecting the Endemic species of the Galapagos Islands and volunteering in collaboration with University of Baja California Sur & LSIESP in Mexico, collecting Grey Whale samples due to an International Unusual Mortality Event, and monitoring animal ecology health in a Lagoon in the Mexican desert. However, nothing has captured my attention and heart quite like the wonderful world of Cornwall, which now I call home.

In my spare time I enjoy Scuba Diving (I need to get my dry suit qualification so I can dive here!), ballroom dancing with my partner and I am a keen gardener.

I love being part of the team and feeding treats to the animals. In my spare time I like to socialise with my friends and to get out and about in our beautiful county.
