Pavel Martin Hendon

Pavel Martin

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Read Pavel Martin bio

Dr Martin qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon 14 years ago, earning a Master's Degree in Pharmacology and Clinical Pathology two years later. Having grown up around many animals, he's had a lifelong passion for treating sick and injured creatures. Whilst he invests in the latest developments in veterinary medicine, he also has a deep passion for surgery, especially orthopaedic cases. On any given day, you will find him in theatre, repairing the wobbly knees of a prize mastiff or the painful hip of a rescued rat. Dr Martin enjoys building up his practice and getting to know the members of the vibrant Hendon and North London communities. Having built up strong working relationships with local animal charities, he is committed to offering affordable preventative pet care and promoting the highest standards of animal welfare in Vets4Pets Hendon's ethos. In his (very limited!) spare time he loves fishing and body boarding, touring natural landscapes and historical landmarks, and taking charge of a good BBQ.

Tracy our head registered veterinary nurse, qualified in London a RVN in 2014. She's worked with Dr Martin since 2011, when she was still a student, and came to Hendon shortly after we opened.

Originally from Ireland, Tracy has also lived in Scotland, nursing animals back to health in all 3 countries. She is also a qualified clinical coach for veterinary nursing students, helping to train them in our clinic (an RCVS approved training & assessment practice) to become the next top crop of RVNs. Tracy enjoys spending time with her many friends in London, as well as visiting family and her Pomeranian back home in Ireland.
