My name is Margarita Kuncheva-Dobreva and I am the JVP at Vets4Pets Longwell Green. I am originally from Bulgaria and graduated from the Trakia University of Veterinary Medicine in Stara Zagora – Bulgaria in 2004. I started working in a small animal practice straight after I qualified and continued to expand my knowledge and skills there for the next 13 years. My main areas of interest are small animal surgery and internal medicine. Helping pets in all shapes and sizes has always been my passion, but I have to admit I have a soft spot for cats! I began my journey with Vets4Pets in 2017 when I moved to London and started work as a Head Veterinary Surgeon in one of the practices. Working there naturally led my desire and ambition to open my own practice, continuing a successful cooperation with Vets4Pets alongside my colleague Nikolay Radev here in Bristol. My job has been truly rewarding and very enjoyable, I love meeting all our clients and looking after their pets. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family exploring the great outdoors. I love sports and try to keep a healthy lifestyle, but I do allow myself a nice portion of English fish and chips every now and then.

My name is Nikolay Radev and I am the JVP at Vets4Pets in Bristol Longwell Green. I graduated back in 2006 from the Trakia University in Bulgaria and also studied at a secondary veterinary school four years prior to that. I have done two large animal work experiences during my time at the University. Firstly, I spent 11 months working with large animals in Finland and then I spent 26 months in Morris, Minnesota working with pigs. When I came to the U.K. back in 2006 I initially worked with pigs again for 18 months. I started working as a small animal vet in September 2009 and I found it a lot more rewarding and enjoyable than being a farm vet. I enjoy being a veterinary surgeon as every day is different and brings a new challenge. Outside of work I enjoy the great outdoors, looking after my daughter and taking her to the park when I am at home. I love football and have just started going to the gym.

My name is Virginia but everyone calls me Gin. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. I still very much enjoy my job after all these years, it was the natural career path for me having grown up on a farm in Somerset. In my spare time I love to travel and surf. I’m a music obsessive, I’ve recently been trying my hand at DJ’ing and love to attend music festivals. I’m just about to qualify as a yoga teacher. Sadly I don’t have any pets at the moment as life won’t allow one, I have to get my animal ‘fix’ at work looking after our clients pets. One day I’ll live by the sea with a motley crew of rescued animals.

My journey in the Pet Industry started in 2008 as a part of the team of a large Veterinary Complex in Bulgaria. My genuine love for all animals together with my innate curiosity led me to explore all aspects of the field – from gaining knowledge in Nutrition and Pet products while working at a Pet Shop, through exploring genetics associated with good breeding practices, to having the pleasure of meeting and caring for pets and their owners as a Receptionist at a Veterinary practice and later achieving a managing role.
I am part of the Vets4Pets’ family since 2017 when I started working in one of the branches in London and here in Bristol I have the privilege of working with the most passionate and driven team for more than 5 years now.
Outside work I love spending my time with my family, playing with my children and our lovable Poodle Eyva or just cuddle up with a nice book.
A day in a veterinary practice is never boring and I am looking forward to all adventures the next one might hold for me…

Lauren Packer

Head Receptionist

Read Lauren Packer bio

Hello, my name is Lauren, I am the head receptionist at Longwell Green. I joined the team back in July 2022 but have been working in the animal industry for many years. My jobs have gone from being a simple weekend assistant at a boarding kennels whilst at university, an RSPCA animal care and now into the veterinary world. My passion is helping animals in need, especially cats. Whilst working for the RSPCA, I fostered orphaned kittens or the more nervous adult cat. I almost became a failed fosterer as I quickly fell in love with this lonely 6-week-old kitten, if it wasn't for my Landlord stopping, little spud would've been mine.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures.

Hi, my name’s Leah and I became a Client Care Advisor for Vets4pets Longwell Green in December 2021. Working in the animal industry has been a dream of mine from a very young age and I am so thankful for the amazing team for welcoming me in to this role. I grew up with a chocolate Labrador called Pippin for 16 years of my life and we did everything together! I have met so many amazing clients and their pets since working here and I cannot wait to meet many more.

Vets4Pets Bristol Longwell Green is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
