Getting a new puppy is an exciting time and we know you want to give them the best start. In order for your puppy to grow up to be a happy, confident, relaxed and friendly adult dog, they need to have lots of friendly and positive meetings with other people, dogs and animals whilst still young.  It’s important your puppy gets used to different sorts of places and situations, so that they can stay calm and happy wherever they are in the future.

Our puppy parties give you a chance to have fun and socialise your puppy in a safe and caring environment.  You can also learn about nutrition, training, behaviour plus have the opportunity to ask questions or talk about any worries you may have. Puppies must be under 12 weeks of age and have had their 1st vaccination in order to attend.

The puppy parties are held at the practice and cost just £10 for a 2 week course. Every attendee will receive a £5 off microchipping voucher, a Royal Canin voucher book (or food) and a toy.

Kennel cough is a highly infectious disease affecting dogs of all ages

Although, as the name suggests, this cough is often picked up when dogs stay in boarding kennels, they are just as likely to catch it whenever they are close to other dogs, so at training classes, playing in the park or walking on the beach. 

As the holiday season approaches it is important to remember that if your pet is due to stay in kennels this year, most good boarding kennels won’t accept your dog unless they have been vaccinated at least 3 weeks before they visit.
