Kirkcaldy Vets for Pets

Izabela is our Clinical Lead in Kirkcaldy and also our resident Ophthalmologist, having recently passed her Ophthal cert. Izzy became a veterinary surgeon in Poland but moved to UK not long after qualifying, working in various practices from Devon to the Isle of Lewis, before settling in Fife. She joined the team at Vets for Pets Kirkcaldy earlier this year and brings an extensive background in small animal veterinary and a passion for ocular procedures.

At home, Izzy and her partner Chris have their own menagerie, including their beautiful cat Ziggy, two geese, Bruce and Ivy and their chickens, Uno and Jim!

Kyle qualified in 2017 in New Zealand, he arrived in Scotland 8 months ago when he joined the Vets for Pets family as an Area Vet covering multiple practices across central Scotland. He has been working with us in Kirkcaldy regularly during this time and we are delighted he has decided to join us permanently 2 days a week from January 2024, so you may already have met him in practice! Kyle is our resident skin specialist and is currently working on his Dermatology certificate.

In his spare time, Kyle loves travelling and is booking.com's best customer....he is always planning his next trip away with friends. 

Hello, my name is Steph and I started working with vets for pets earlier this year. I have worked within the veterinary industry for over 5 years, starting as a receptionist and now due to qualify as a nurse early next year. I absolutely love looking after all our patients especially in recovery.

In between studying I recently just got married to my husband Russell and look after our beautiful 10 year old Jack Russell, Holly who is pictured with me. In our free time we love long beach walks and a stop for a glass of wine!

Hey, my name is Annie and I started working with Vets For Pets in February. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2022 and have worked in the veterinary industry for over 5 years. I love meeting all our patients and particularly enjoy nursing hospitalised patients.

Myself and my boyfriend have a 1 year old miniature dachshund called Freddie who is the best wee sausage. We enjoy going for walks and taking him to the pub for a few pints! In our free time, we like exploring new places, eating out and spending time with family and friends. We love going on holiday and spending time in the sun with a few cocktails!

I have been working in the veterinary industry at Vets for Pets for almost 4 years. Every day is different and being able to support our clients and their lovely owners is so rewarding, I can honestly say, I love my job!

I am married to Liam and we have two adult kids, we also have a gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer Rudi who is almost 2yrs and a fur grand-dog Link, who is 5yrs and my favourite sausage in the world! I love spending time with my family, eating out and socialising with friends. My other love is travelling, I am always planning my next trip away, preferably to somewhere with a beach or lake.

I starting working for Vets for Pets over two years ago. I have always worked with pets throughout my career and can’t imagine doing anything else. I love meeting all our clients and their gorgeous pets. Here is a picture of Louie, my Roborovski hamster.

Victor is originally from Chile where he qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2013. He settled in Scotland 12 years ago after meeting his Scottish wife while they were both on a trip to Argentina. She brought him back to Scotland kicking and screaming, however it didn't take long for him to realise he was born in the wrong country, apart from missing Latin music, he is in love with everything Scottish!

Victor previously specialised in small animals, in particular feline oncology. He is currently studying to sit his RCVS exam to allow him to practice in the UK and become one of our resident Vets in Kirkcaldy!

When he’s not in the clinic he is playing music, tennis or drinking whisky!

I am a qualified dementia friend and have previously worked in Accessibility supporting customers with a range of mental health, physical mobility, bereavement support and learning disabilities. Customer care is a huge passion to me. Right from the beginning to end of life care. I take pride in my compassion and care for our customers and their pets. I love meeting all the gorgeous pets coming into the practice and creating relationships with the customers.

My husband and I have a gorgeous ginger tabby called Jasper. He's the apple of my eye. A very stylish kitty, who wears a different bow tie every day. When I'm not at work I'm normally running around after my full of energy crazy little 2 year old son. Out hill walking and enjoying the outdoors with my husband. Or spending time with my girl gang relaxing over a cheeky glass of gin.

Hi, my name is Carmen, I started working with vets for pets in April this year after being with a previous vet practice for 6 years! I love working in this environment, helping the clients and pets in any way I can.

I have a 1year old daughter called Niamh and I am due a baby boy in November this year. Pictured with me are my two floofy boys Dexter and Gus and I also have 2 cats Missy and Olly!

When I’m not running around after children and all the animals I love nothing more than relaxing watching a movie with my husband Josh with a little gin!

Hi, my name is Simon and I started at Vets4Pets in September after working in a previous vets for almost 7 years. I enjoy my family trips to Orlando every year and am the owner of two border collies Ozzy and Harry, together with the whole cast of finding nemo (a tank full of gorgeous fish).

I have been married to Dave for 20 years and have two grown up children called Emma & Ben and a fur grandbaby mini Doxie called Link. I love trips away with all the family and spending time with friends in our garden bar.
