I graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Spain in 2008 and I decided to stay at University two further years doing a Companion Animal postgraduate which gave me a stronger knowledge on my chosen career path.

I then moved to the UK where I embarked on a one year internship to get the grips of Veterinary Medicine in the UK which allow me to adapt to the country variations. I performed this internship right here in Swindon at the former Great Western Referrals Hospital.

After this I moved to the South Coast of England where I spent seven years enjoying my job as a first opinion vet with a wide variety of interests. (All about felines, internal medicine, imaging, dentistry...)

I decided to come back to Swindon after all those years to reunite with some very missed friends.

I then fell in love with the practice and it’s team, that we continue to build gradually.

At the beginning of  2023, I became Joint Venture Partner along with Karen and I have been enjoying the ride ever since. So I am planning to stay for a good while!

In my spare time I love to travel, read, meet up with friends and I am a keen salsa dancer. I love to go for walks with my rescue cat Luna who is still a bit wild and untamed.

My name is Pip Sears and I graduated as a vet in 2023 from the University of Bristol. After I graduated I did a postgraduate research masters on veterinary mental health and animal hoarding. I'm now excited to join the clinical team at Vets4pets and meet all the clients and their furry friends! I am particularly interested in consulting and palliative care.

When not working I enjoy hiking, drawing, reading and playing squash. I also love playing with our three ferrets, Bert, Ronnie and Bennie. They're absolute chaos, very cute and love nothing more than climbing up our legs to try and get involved with anything we're doing!

I began training as a nurse in 1987 and qualified in 1990. I joined Vets4Pets in May 2013 at the Stratton surgery and in December 2015 became a partner in the Vets4Pets Bridgemead clinic.

Cats are my passion and in March 2016 I gained my diploma in feline nursing from the International Society of Feline Medicine.

I enjoy consulting and love sharing my knowledge with other cat owners, hopefully helping them to have long happy, healthy lives with their much-loved cats. I am proud to be a crazy cat lady and currently share my home with 1 rescue cat. Away from work I enjoy gardening, cooking and crafting, and attending vintage rallies with my friend and her family's vintage fire engines.

I joined the Bridgemead team in 2021 as a receptionist/VCA.

I’ve always been a dog-lover at heart, though I have a big soft spot for rabbits, cats & anything with scales.

At home I’m usually going dizzy watching my crazy Cocker Spaniel Dexter run circles around the coffee table for hours-on-end. I also have two rabbits called Levi & Nami who were recently bonded at a local rescue, and a ball python called Lemon.

I love getting to meet our patients, whether they’re new or regulars, and getting to learn their little quirks.

Veterinary nursing was always my dream job, so after a few detours and a lot of determination, I finally started my nursing career as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2013.

I gradually worked my way up, becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017. Once qualified, I spent a year working in various veterinary clinics in Sydney, Australia and managed to travel around most of Australia and New Zealand before heading back to the UK.

I am now enjoying life down south and joined the Vets4Pets Swindon Bridgemead team in September 2021. Outside of work, I've always been quite an active person. I learnt to ski when I was 3 years old and I also enjoy surfing, paddle boarding and cycling.

I joined the Bridgemead team in 2015.

I have always had a passion for working with animals. I studied Animal Care & Management at Wiltshire College Lackham and after graduating I had the privilege to work in South Africa with many different animals including Cheetahs, Leopards & naughty baboons!

I had a gorgeous sable & white shetland sheepdog called Jasper for 16 years, as I fell in love with the breed I now have Riley a blue merle shetland sheepdog, Riley is our furry team member in clinic on most days!

I also have a leopard gecko called Gordon.

I enjoy seeing all the different pets that visit us here and the Puppy & Kitten cuddles are a great perk to the job!

Our practice owners Karen & Ana & their team welcome you to their fully equipped clinic.

At Vets4Pets Swindon Bridgemead we treat every one of our patients as if they were our own.

We were established in 2015, we as a practice are committed to bringing you high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound.

We know that your pets are part of your family and we want you to feel like part of our family too.
