I joined vets4pets Hedge End in March 2018 after deciding I wanted a career change, originally part time. Since October 2019 I have been here full time and now am the Practice Administrator. This was a great decision, as I love my job and the team I work with. No day is the same! Working with animals is rewarding and at some time challenging job but I wouldn’t have it any other.

I have completed the animal care level 2 course and am a pet loss and bereavement counsellor.

My name is Katie and I work on reception, I previously worked as a vets receptionist at an independent practice for 6 years. I enjoy the variety of the job and meeting everybody's beautiful pets. I have kept many animals over the years and currently have 2 guinea pigs (Peppa and Toffee) and my 12 year old border collie (Maisie). My hobbies are dog walking, spending time with family and horse riding.
