I joined the practice in October 2010 as the director. Before becoming the Joint Venture Partner of Vets4Pets Paisley I worked with a mix of large and small animals.

My favourite thing about working in Vets4Pets Paisley is the banter and helping sick animals.

I currently have 8 pets - Rolo & Poppy (dogs), Poppy, Daisy & Tulip (rabbits) and Kasha, Gift & Topper (horses).

Outside of work I enjoy hillwalking with the dogs.

I graduated from Glasgow vet school in 2007. After 4 years in mixed practice in Wales I realised that I wanted to concentrate on small animal practice and surgery in particular. With this in mind I undertook a certificate in small animal surgery which I completed in 2014. After a brief stint in Canada, during a particularly cold winter, I worked in several practices in various parts of the UK including time in a surgical referral centre in Newcastle before coming back up to the Glasgow area. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but particularly surgery. I also have a particular soft spot for Labradors as I have a black lab called Islay and a yellow lab called Clyde.

Outside of work I can be found doing my best to still make it round a rugby pitch on a Saturday. I also have an old Land-Rover that sometimes I spend more time fixing than driving!
