I studied veterinary medicine in Hannover, Germany and in Bern, Switzerland and graduated in 1998. After finishing my doctoral thesis in Virology/Immunology at the University of Berne, I moved to the UK in 1999. I've worked in several hospital based veterinary practices in the South East of England. in 2009 I moved with my family to North Wales, where I have worked in a local small animal practice. I have a strong interest in Veterinary Ophthalmology, obtained my RVC Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2011, and I've worked at Rutland House Referrals, St. Helen's, Liverpool, as a referral ophthalmologist. In my spare time I enjoy family life with my partner, two children, two cats Llio and Bennie and my two guinea pigs, Rossie and Pedro. I'm also trying to master the Welsh language.

After my school exams I decided to do an apprenticeship to become a nurse (for people!) in the university hospital in Göttingen, Germany. I then went on to study veterinary medicine in Hanover, Germany and worked during my studies in an intensive care unit (mainly cardiology and oncology). I joined Vets4Pets Llandudno in October 2022 after a lot of paperwork due to Brexit!
I enjoy hiking and climbing in nature, camping, reading a good book, spending time with my dog Emmi and running.

I come from Mallorca, a Mediterranean island located in Spain. When I was in vet school I did a year-long externship in Chile, and some training in different clinics and hospitals in my country. After finishing my degree, I worked in a wildlife rescue centre as a care assistant, and later I decided to move to Wales because I found in this practice an opportunity to keep learning and improving in the veterinary profession! While applying for all the paperwork for the move, I spent a couple of months working in a 24-hour hospital in Spain. I have a 12-year-old dog called Indie (who still maintains the energy and madness of a 5-year old!), and in my free time I enjoy crocheting, reading, hiking and travelling.

I’ve been working in the Veterinary profession for over 20 years, and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2016. I also hold my Companion Animal Dispensing Qualification C-SQP. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but have a particular interest in clinical nursing, orthopaedics and assisting with surgical procedures.

Yes, I have pets; I would love to have more! Biscuit is a rescue cat from NCAR, Joe (Galah Cockatoo) is 30+ years old and Luna, a Lab x Collie and ball crazy! I try and keep fit by going to the gym, just as well as I have just started baking cakes! I enjoy travelling and have had the amazing experience of seeing the aurora borealis in Finland. I also collect coins which I have a collection of over 200 coins and growing. I love going to music festivals and enjoy a game of bingo with friends.

I was born and grew up in Windsor, Berkshire and I moved to North Wales in 2014. I have always had an interest in animals and their welfare and for two years I volunteered for a swan rescue charity in Eton which developed my passion for wild birds, in particular owls and swans.

I have been a receptionist at Llandudno Vets4Pets since the day we opened in January 2015 and although it can be challenging at times, I am still broadening my knowledge of veterinary care and treatment day by day. I acquired my Veterinary Care Assistant Diploma in 2018.

In my spare time I enjoy walking and exploring the country and its hidden gems. I have 3 cats called Ollie, Max and Jelly and a Hermann's tortoise called Tuki.

I started as a receptionist in April 2021. Not long after starting, I realised I wanted to broaden my knowledge of veterinary care and treatment and be able to help the veterinary surgeons and nurses. In January 2022 I started my Veterinary Care Assistant course and received my diploma in March 2023.
