Meet the Blackpool Warbreck Vet Team

Caroline Ross Blackpool Warbreck

Caroline Ross

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

After  qualifying from Glasgow I spent my early years as a vet in farm practice, then moved into small animal practice over 20 years ago. I came to live on the Fylde coast in 1997 and am enjoying a mix of work and family life with my partner and 2 children.

It is very exciting to be opening my own practice, and to use all my years of experience to offer our clients the best possible service and healthcare for their pets. I look forward to building a great practice, with my team to help me.

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello everyone. My name is Justina. I am the newest member of the Vets4Pets Team here in Blackpool. I graduated from Lithuanian Veterinary Academy in 2007 and spent a year working as a small animal vet in Vilnius. My passion of travelling and taking care of animals brought me over to the UK more than 6 years ago.

I live with my husband and I have acquired a big  cat called Ginger, which I treated and then rescued after a road traffic accident a few years ago. I am a big fan of natural living and in my free time I enjoy going to the gym, swimming or just a nice walk by the seaside followed by a nutritious homemade meal. I also love reading and spending time with my niece and nephew.

Hello, my name is Beccy. I am currently training to become a veterinary nurse. I have a little boy, two dogs and a cat. My Husky Kuma is in the picture. I spend some of my spare time doing my nursing studies and the rest keeping my little boy occupied. I'm always able to make time for a cheeky glass of wine as well. I am looking forward to meeting all the clients and patients.

Hello! My name's Heather. I'm a student veterinary nurse and I am completing my placements here at Warbreck Vets4Pets. My background is actually 5 years of human nursing however, when I realised that I could combine my love for clinical skills and animals and study vet nursing, I knew that this was the career for me! I have a small zoo at home consisting of 2 hamsters (Ernest and Einstein), a Royal python (Eve), tropical fish tank, a cat (Hobo) and two dogs (Peggy and Wilma).

I have worked in both Sweden and Denmark where I was given the amazing opportunity to assist in managing a bird observatory and nature reserve. I have a keen interest in exotics and wildlife. I'm really enjoying my time here, we have a great team and I'm very passionate about making the most of my experience as a student! See you soon :)

I have had a variety of animals over the years. At present I have a 2 year old rescue Staffie called Leilani who is just amazing to be around. I also have a pond of goldfish and a tank of Orandas (specialist goldfish) and a tank with two axolotls who are called Lancelotl and Aristotl. I have a hamster who I got from Pets at Home adoption centre 2 years ago and a three year old tortoise who is the latest addition to our home which we aptly name 'the zoo'. I am enjoying meeting all of your animals and getting lots of puppy cuddles :)

Debbie Wainwright

Receptionist

Hi, my name is Debbie. I recently joined the Vets4Pets team after working next door in B&Q for eleven years. At first I was a bit nervous as I had been there for so long, but straight away the staff made me feel very welcome. Everyone is so friendly and easy to get along with. At home I have a Japanese Akita called Simba. I have always had pets, and working here is so good as I get to meet lots of people and their pets, and have had the experience of watching the vets and nurses performing different operations, which is very interesting.

Hi, I'm Laura and I am very excited to join the team at Vets4Pets Blackpool Warbreck. I have been a client for many years with my own animals. Presently we have a cat, Waldo, two house rabbits, five assorted hamsters and three gerbils. Our animals are rescue or Pets at Home adoption animals. In my spare time I enjoy Northern Premier League (cricket), reading, and I collect bubble bud vases so spend time on the hunt for those.
