Dr. Amy Dyce BSc BVM&S MRCVS and Dr. Tara Dalgleish B.A. BVM&S MRCVS
Amy attended The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Edinburgh University which is where I met my now fellow vet colleague Tara! Amy and Tara both graduated the same year at vet school, in 2012 from Edinburgh University. They shared friendship circles throughout University and regularly attended social events together. One year Tara and her then boyfriend, now husband, came to an event dressed as Calvin and Hobbes, where I came dressed as an Ewok!
Amy and Tara were both founding members of the Dick Vet Crafting Club, “All Crafters Great and Small”, who met weekly in a pub in Marchmont to knit and drink wine.
Once we graduated, our lives took different paths, with Amy returning to University to do an internship and then opening Vets4Pets Straiton in 2015 and later Vets4Pets Bonnyrigg in 2017. Tara worked in Yorkshire for a year, before joining Amy at Vets4Pets Straiton!
We both love working at the Vets4Pets Straiton practice, and it’s lovely to work alongside a friend.
We’ve been through ups and downs together but we always look forward to seeing Vets4Pets Straiton grow and flourish!
