Why does my pet need a CT scan?

Our priority is your pet, so ensuring they get the right care and treatment as quickly as possible is critical. The easier it is to make a positive diagnosis, the more effectively medical and surgical treatment can be administered.

With our brand new, state-of-the-art CT scanner, we can see inside your pet which enables us to provide a more accurate and timely diagnosis of both routine and potentially life threatening conditions.

Your pet will need to be sedated or anesthetised for a short time but don’t worry, we have a fully trained CT nurse on hand to ensure that they receive the best possible care during their time with us.

  • CT scanning provides advanced visualisation of bones, organs and vessels from any angle
  • Our advanced CT scanner can scan your pet quickly, which means shorter examination times reducing the time needed for anaesthesia, providing you peace of mind
  • The same technology is used in NHS & private hospitals throughout the UK

For more information please speak to one of our team, we are happy to answer any of your questions.
