Vets4Pets Lisburn Longstone

Meet the Lisburn Longstone vet team

Lisburn Longstone Vets4Pets JVP Anna

Anna Barron-Moore BSc(Hons) BVSc MVM MRCVS

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

After qualifying from the University of Bristol, I worked in Scotland and Northern Ireland while completing a master’s degree in conjunction with The Donkey Sanctuary. I took the brave leap to start out on my own after the birth of my first child Nicholas. It’s a daunting prospect but Vets4Pets are here to hold my hand and provide all the support we require.

I also have a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, something I am truly passionate about.

Through setting up and managing my own practice I can use my knowledge to make trips to the vets as stress free as possible for pets and their owners. This is especially true of my feline patients, who’s unique needs are often overlooked or misunderstood.

My other interests include oncology and surgery.

I live in Lisburn with my husband, son and our Irish Wolfhound “Charlie”.

Student Veterinary Nurse

My job is to provide a friendly and compassionate service to clients and their furry family. Having a passion for animals since a small child I feel privileged to be in this field of work.

Working in the first ISFM gold standard practice in Northern Ireland makes for a much less stressful experience for our feline friends. At the minute I have no hobbies but once qualified I hope to enjoy horse riding again.

Included in our family is Pringle (Pug) who was initially a foster dog, Victor (schnauzer Yorkie) who came from a local pound in 2006 and last but not least Mr Mittens (long haired feline) who loves my youngest son but hates the rest of the world. I hope to finish my study and become a RVN in 2018.

Nicola joined Vets4Pets Longstone in February 2017. She has worked in veterinary practice since 1991, initially training and working for many years as a veterinary nurse. She moved over to a receptionist role after having her two children.

She lives locally with her husband and two boys, along with Dennis the cat and a goldfish who continually changes name.

In her spare time, she enjoys mixing with her friends and a spot of light retail therapy! She looks forward to meeting you and your pet in the near future."

My name is Lisa, I am delighted to be a receptionist at Vets4Pets Lisburn Longstone and part of a great team! I may be one of the first people you meet when coming into the pratice, I am here to help with any phone enquires, appointment bookings and of course making a fuss of your lovely fur babies.

My top priority is customer care making sure clients and their pets feel welcomed, valued and cared for. I have three animals at home to keep me busy when I'm not at work, a chihuahua cross called Poppy, a 17 year old Jack Russell called Molly and a house rabbit named Benny, who rules the roost!

In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and taking our dogs for a run along the beach in Newcastle.

Hi. My name is Lesley. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008 from Greenmount College. I have several years experience working in various practices. My particular interest is in felines, so it's great to work in an ISFM gold standard cat friendly practice.

When I'm not working, I enjoy running and looking after my own animals including my 4 cats, my horse Ben and my little terrier Sally. I look forward to meeting our clients and looking after their pets.
