Veterinary Surgeon

Hi, I’m Katie. I graduated in July 2015 from Glasgow. I have been working at the Vets4Pets Paisley practice since October 2016. I have 4 cats and a Scotsman.

I am particularly interested in anything feline, pathology and also surgery.

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Glasgow vet school in 2007. After 4 years in mixed practice in Wales I realised that I wanted to concentrate on small animal practice and surgery in particular. With this in mind I undertook a certificate in small animal surgery which I completed in 2014. After a brief stint in Canada, during a particularly cold winter, I worked in several practices in various parts of the UK including time in a surgical referral centre in Newcastle before coming back up to the Glasgow area. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but particularly surgery. I also have a particular soft spot for Labradors as I have a black Lab called Islay.

Outside of work I can be found doing my best to still make it round a rugby pitch on a Saturday. I also have an old Land-Rover that sometimes I spend more time fixing than driving!

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Lara. I have been qualified as a veterinary nurse for over 20 years. I worked at the PDSA for 20 years before joining the Vets4Pets team a year ago.

My interests are dog training and behaviour, I run puppy classes local. At home I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 10 guinea pigs and 8 chickens (blossom pictured below) (and two children!) I really enjoy meeting all the Vets4Pets clients and hearing about their lovely pets.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Rebecca!

I started my journey with Vets4Pets in April 2018, and I have recently qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in May 2018. I began my training in 2015 with Edinburgh College before they transferred to SRUC Oatridge. During my time at college I got to experience working within the Small Animal Hospital and from my time there I have found myself to have a passion for surgical nursing.

When I am not at work I love to spend time with my 2 dogs. I have a crazy Beagle called Mabel who is 5 years old and her best friend George the Bull Terrier who is going through his terrible 2’s.

I cannot wait to meet all the Vets4Pets clients with their furry friends and getting to know you all.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, my name is Shona! I have previously studied HNC animal care at SRUC Barony & joined the Paisley Vets4Pets team in February 2018.

I have a great love for all animals especially dogs. I have a handsome, smiley Staffie called Noah that I rescued 3 years ago and it was very much love at first sight. I also have a Rabbit called Theo who is another very handsome chap. In the future I would like to train as a vet nurse.

Practice Manager

Hi, I’m Caitlin. I started my Vets4Pets journey with the Glasgow Forge practice in March 2015 and after a fantastic two and a half years with them I made the move to the Paisley practice (November 2017).

I am a Paisley Buddie born and bred so settling in at the Paisley practice has been easy. I was known at Glasgow Forge as the “crazy schnauzer lady” and this is not something that will change now that I am at Paisley. I had a miniature schnauzer called Molly for 14 years so they remain a firm favourite (if you have one? I want to know!)

I bought a house last October with my boyfriend and in May this year we added to our family. Her name is Dakota…she is a Rottweiler (in my picture) and she is now 8 months old and weighing 30+ kilos already! Her two favourite things are tummy rubs and licking faces (if you are in the practice on a Tuesday or Thursday feel free to test this out for yourself…you have been warned!).

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I spend a lot of my time out in the countryside either walking Dakota or Horse riding. I look forward to seeing you all in practice.

Paisley Vets4Pets Stacey Dolan

Stacey Dolan

Receptionist

My name is Stacey and I have been Receptionist with Vets4Pets Paisley since September 2012.

Before joining the team at Paisley I was previously a PA in a project management company for 10 years, so working in a veterinary practice was completely different and very new to me.  I have learned so much in my time here and continue to learn, thanks to my amazing colleagues.

Although I have no pets myself, I do however have a 4 year old son (Logan) who keeps me busy when I'm not working!!

My favourite part of my job is chatting with our clients and getting a wee cuddle from their furry friends!

I look forward to seeing all of our clients and their furry friends old and new.

Receptionist

Hi, I’m Gemma. I joined Vets4Pets as a receptionist in October 2017. I am also currently studying to be a veterinary nurse and I started this in September 2015 at Edinburgh Napier University. I hope to remain with the Vets4Pets family once I am fully qualified.

I have a keen interest in dogs. I own an 8 year old black Labrador called Ozzy. Ozzy is father to a little black lab puppy called Alfie who is very annoying and is owned by my parents.
