Veterinary Surgeon and Partner

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and started at Vets4Pets in 2014. I enjoy working with all kinds of animals but have a special interest in dentistry, ophthalmology and looking after our older pets.

Just like people, I think that our pets are only as old as they feel! At home, I have two Springer Spaniels, called Cleo and Nero, and we do agility and heel work together. I also have a ginger cat, called Cairo, who is very naughty!

My love of animals started at a very young age, where as I grew up I had a strong interest in science and this led me to study to become a vet at Bristol University.

Since then I have gained experience working at several small animal surgeries and I was thrilled to join the Vets4Pets Peterborough team in January, where I have been able to provide the high quality of care I strive for, with a friendly, personal service. I am very excited by the opportunity to open a new ‘sister’ practice in Bretton to continue this.

I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their owners, treating each patient as an individual and I look forward to getting to know you and your much loved family pets.

When I was five years old I decided to be a vet and never thought about doing anything else since. After finishing veterinary high school I studied veterinary medicine at the University of Zagreb where I graduated in 2016. I've joined Vets4pets Peterboroughteam in September 2017. After previously working as a small animal vet in Split. I have special interests in soft tissue surgery and cytology.

Outside of work there is nothing better than reading a good book. Back home I was a passionate beekeeper so I hope to have beehives in England as well one day. I consider helping pets a privilege, also being a vet is a constant challenge and a truly rewarding life.

Since I was a child I always had a great understanding and could easily develop a natural bond with animals of all species. At early age I knew my life will be linked to animals. After I got my MDV degree in Lublin, Poland; I started to work in Lund University, Sweden with Functional Zoology Team and Gut group, later I worked in Nutrition Science Program for Memphis University, TN, USA. In 2014 I moved to UK and find my place in Vets4Pets where I can enjoy my work, and spend a lot of time with various pets. In private, I am a happy owner of 19 tropical fish.

I graduated in 2015 in Olsztyn, a city surrounded by beautiful lakeside in Poland. Since early years of university, I have attended many private practices to gain clinical experience. Just after I got my diploma, I had a 3 month internship in Porto, Portugal in a reputable 24 hour hospital, where I learned a great deal on patient care and emergency. I have worked as a vet in Britain for almost 2 years now, enjoying every aspect of my job, but with special interest in imaging, especially ultrasound, and surgery.

I live with my partner, Karolina, and have a cat – she has only three legs but is running around the house like crazy!

I have been working at Vets4Pets Bretton since it opened in November 2013. I am lucky to have a job that I look forward to going to and work with a team of friendly, professional people. I like the variety of the job and enjoy meeting clients and their pets. I love animals of any size, shape and temperament and believe they give so much more than they take.

I have had many pets over the years, from as small as guinea pigs to as big as horses. I currently have a very old goldfish and two cats - a large tabby called Whiskey Dave and his tiny, black sister Milly (aka innocent Millicent) who is always up to no good! I am married with two grown-up children and a grandson.

I joined the Vets4Pets Peterborough Team in December 2015 and it has been a pleasure meeting and greeting our clients and their pets. I have a rescue dog called Tilly at home, who I can’t imagine life without. I love spending time with her and taking her out for long walks. The best part of my job is that I get to cuddle animals every day and see them get better.
