What is your favourite animal and why?
If I didn't like all animals, I think there'd be something wrong! I think all pets have their own different characters, and that's why we love them so.

What pets do you have and what are their names?
Cat - Steed
Dog - Dexter

What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?

What is your favourite famous animal?
Wile E. Coyote.

What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
Being able to work in a great environment, and with a brilliant team of people around me.

Senior Clinical Nurse

I have been in practice since 2002 and later qualified in 2007. During my career as a Veterinary nurse I have worked in various practices all over the UK, working both on the farm as well as in practice. I have a keen interest in animal behaviour and feline nursing and have taken part in a neutering project abroad, helping stray and injured cats in Spain.

In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and walking my English bull terror called Bronte.

I’m a student veterinary nurse studying at Solihull college, currently on my second year with one year to go until I qualify.

I’ve been working here since 2015 and enjoy meeting the clients and fussing and cuddling the pets.

I love meeting and greeting the many pets and their owners that come into our practice. I only joined the practice a short while ago and have found all of the team to be lovely and friendly and so very caring. I have two Shih Tzu’s at home, George and Lillian, they are definitely not lap dog type Shih Tzu’s, they love being in the woods and the river and rolling around in the mud and muck. I have four grown up children who have flown the nest and three amazing grandsons and I am immensely proud of them all. I also have 3 cats, Cleo, Percy and a rescue called Phoebe. My sons and daughter also have many cats, dogs, hamsters and lizards so I suppose this shows we are an animal loving family, over the years we have had many dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, snakes and stick insects too!
