Karen Lewendon RVN ISFM DipFNI

Practice Owner & Head Nurse

I began training as a nurse in 1987 and qualified in 1990.

I joined Vets4Pets in May 2013 at the Stratton surgery and in December 2015 became a partner with Clare and Tanya in the Vets4Pets Bridgemead clinic.

Cats are my passion and in March 2016 I gained my diploma in feline nursing form the International Society of Feline Medicine. I enjoy consulting and love sharing my knowledge with other cat owners, hopefully helping them to a long happy, healthy lives with their much loved cats.

I am proud to be a crazy cat lady and currently share my home with 5 rescue cats and my long suffering husband. My husband and I own a steam traction engine who we take to rallies and shows. In any time I have left I enjoy gardening, knitting and sewing.

Clare Dudley BSc (Hons)

Practice Owner & Practice Manager

After Graduating from Plymouth University in 2007 I joined the Merchant Navy sailing around the world within the Cruise Ship Industry which fed my passion for travel.

I relocated to Swindon in 2013 where I joined Tanya’s team at the Stratton Surgery. In November 2015 Tanya, Karen and I joined forces and partnered opening the Bridgemead Surgery together in December 2015.

I have found that working in Veterinary Practice enables me to entwine my love of animals, people, customer care and business.

I have a 2 year old son called Elliot and our family would not be complete without our Cavachon Tess. Both of them are full of energy and bring so much fun, laughter and chaos to my home.

Tanya Crawley BVSc BSc (Hons) MRCVS

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

I have been a Veterinary Surgeon for 15 years. I became a partner at Vets4pets Swindon (then known as Companion Care) when it opened its doors in May 2010. The opportunity then came up to open a second surgery on the other side of town and we opened the doors to Swindon Bridgemead in December 2015.

I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and I have a particular interest in small mammals and reptiles. I love to meet people and their pets and I am very lucky to have such a rewarding job.

In what little spare time that I have, I thoroughly enjoy being with my family. I have a very patient and loving husband, 2 beautiful children, 2 dogs called Pablo and Clover and a cat called Yoda.  I have a real passion for cooking and also for eating! I love to travel, enjoy reading and love rollercoasters!

Hayley Boulden

Head Receptionist

I have always had a passion for working with animals. I studied Animal Care & Management at Wiltshire College Lackham and after graduating I had the privilege to work in South Africa with many different animals including Cheetahs and Leopards.

I have a Shetland sheepdog called Jasper who could be described as looking like a miniature Lassie, so he requires a lot of grooming. I also have a leopard Gecko called Gordon.

I enjoy seeing all the different pets that visit us here and the Puppy and Kitten cuddles are a great perk to the job.
