Vets4Pets Aberdeen

Meet the team

Final Aberdeen JVPs on white New

John & Sheila Smith

Owners & Veterinary Surgeons

We both graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2010 and started out working in veterinary hospitals in England before returning home to work in and around Aberdeen for the past 4 years.

Now we aim to combine our experiences to provide our patients with the best possible care in our own family practice.

Between us we have a variety of interests. John is adept in the treatment and handling of feathery and scaly creatures along with his keen interest in surgery. Sheila enjoys all aspects of general practice especially getting to know the clients and their furry friends.

Outside of work we can be found gardening, baking and doing DIY whilst entertaining our 2 young children (Isabelle & Oliver) and Molly the cat.

Francesca Maria Lamb

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello! My name is Fran and I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2016 from Edinburgh University. After graduating I worked in a veterinary hospital south of Glasgow before moving home to Aberdeen. I am very enthusiastic about my job and am interested in all aspects of medicine and surgery.

I like all species but have a particular soft spot for cats. Since joining Vets4Pets Aberdeen I also enjoy eating John and Sheila’s baking. In my free time I enjoy keeping fit. I play netball and run regularly but enjoy all outdoors activities.

Senior Veterinary Nurse

I have been working for Vets4Pets for over a year now and I enjoy nurse clinics and running the puppy classes. I take a keen interest in furry exotics and I am doing my exotic nursing certificate. This will allow me to do exotic health checks and give out the most up to date husbandry advice.

Emma Campbell

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified and became a registered veterinary nurse at the end on 2015 and joined the team August 2016. I love all aspects of my job, especially the interaction with pets and their owners. I originally went to art school when I left school where I studied illustration and printmaking and still paint pet portraits in oil on canvas. Pictured with me is my ever faithful border collie, Bailey who loves to follow me everywhere.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hello my name is Shannon. I am 21 years old and have a great passion and enthusiasm for animals.

I have one cat, Poe, he is 2 years old and loves cuddles doing tricks, catching flies outside and playing with my giant schnauzer Brodie.

My role at the practice is a veterinary care assistant. I have worked for vets4pets since it opened in July 2015. Over the years I have gained many skills and knowledge and great friends. I have bonded with a lot of clients and their pets and absolutely love my job! Soon my role will be changing to student veterinary nurse and I couldn't be more excited to start the next chapter of my career.

Hi I’m Erin, I joined the Vets4Pets team in March 2017 as a receptionist. I am very passionate about animals and pictured with me is my 8 year old Springer Spaniel X Collie, Angus. I am very lucky to have such a rewarding job and especially enjoy getting to meet little puppies and kittens and watching them grow up.

In my spare time I pick up extra shifts at a restaurant near home, I also enjoy relaxing with a good book and spending time with family and friends

Amy Sinclair

Hello, I'm Amy. I re-joined the Aberdeen team in September after having a break to travel and work in Australia! I thoroughly enjoy my reception role as it means I get to interact with all our lovely clients and a wide range of animals.

During my time in Australia I got to see some amazing animals but none of them were as great as our family German Shepherds, Duke & Blake (even the koala)! In my spare time I enjoy baking and exploring the outdoors.
