Meet the Andover Vet team

Kevin JVP Andover

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

It was a childhood ambition of mine to become a Vet and it has been a wonderful experience so far. Having previously worked in India and Australia as well as the UK with many colleagues, I have now completed my 14th year as a Vet.

My clinical interests include surgery, medicine and diagnostic imaging. Outside of Veterinary practicing, my time is mainly taken up by keeping my twin children happy but I do like to read and walk the dog (when it’s not raining!). Also while I am not very good, I do hope to take up playing Squash again.

Annemiek JVP Andover

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I wanted to be a Vet from an early age and I have been working as a Vet for nearly ten years now. I have never looked back! No single day is the same, it’s always a challenge and I love it!

I studied Veterinary Medicine and Medical Biology in the Netherlands and after graduation I worked in India and later in the UK. I had a two year maternity and last year returned to part time work in Hampshire. I have many clinical interests including surgery, wound management, geriatrics, cardiology and ultrasonography.

Outside of practice we have two year old twins to keep me busy and I enjoy travelling and the outdoors.

Andover Receptionist Mandy

I have recently returned to work after staying at home for the last seven years to raise my youngest daughter. I have two girls, Amy (19) and Grace (7).

I am the morning receptionist here at Andover Vets4Pets. Growing up, we always had cats and dogs and now I have a Beagle called Billy and 2 cats, Carrie and Toffee. I have always loved animals so I have the best job ever!

I love to read horror novels, walk my dog with my daughter and have been known to sing my little heart out on karaoke!

Amy Griffin Vets4Pets Andover Nurse

Veterinary Nurse

I grew up in Northumberland where I first started nursing, I then moved to south London where I did my training and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse. I now live in Eastleigh with my partner and our two dumbo eared rats Marmite and Malbec. My interests are in canine behaviour and I am currently studying a behaviour diploma, and in my spare time I do yoga and enjoy a bit of retail therapy.

Andover Receptionist Melissa

I have always wanted to work with animals ever since an early age, working at Vets4Pets has given me the opportunity to meet lots of new people in the area and of course meet all their lovely pets.

I have previously worked as a kennel maid/receptionist, and as a veterinary nursing assistant in 2 separate practices in Birmingham. I have also worked alongside the giraffes at West Midlands Safari Park, very fun!

I have lived in Halesowen (Birmingham) all my life and after moving to Andover 2 months ago I am now looking to get a French Bulldog with my partner, that we want to name Sebastian. As well as our future Frenchie we also have tropical fish and an albino frog named Albert!

Outside of practice I enjoy taking long walks and spending time with friends and family.

I joined Vets4Pets in November 2014. Prior to this I have worked in Customer Service roles.

I love being around animals and at home I have a long haired Dachshund called Mollie, who is very spoilt. I also have a cat called Luna, two Guinea Pigs and three Syrian Hamsters.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family and travelling.
