Meet the Ballymena Vet team

Mary Davey JVP Vets4Pets Ballymena

Your Vet is Mary Davey

Veterinary Surgeon & Practice Owner

I graduated in 2001 from UCD, Dublin with my degree in veterinary medicine. I spent a year working in small animal practice in Dublin before returning to live in Ballymena. I have spent the last nine years working in various practices in the area focussing on improving my skills in the treatment of small animals. I love working with animals and their owners and always strive to do my best to deliver an excellent service. When I'm not working I share my time with my family, three cats and two dogs.

My name is Lynsey McKeown.  I am one of the receptionists for Vets4Pets Ballymena.

I am completely new to the veterinary world after a career break of nearly four years.

My background before this job varied between window dressing and banking.  My top priority is customer care, making sure all our clients (and their pets) feel welcomed, valued and cared for.

Hi I'm Grace and I am the Vet Nurse here at Vets4pets Ballymena.

After completing my studies and gaining my Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing from LYIT, I moved from Donegal to Ballymena to join the team here! I have been made to feel more than welcome in the practice and really enjoy working here.

I come from a farming background and have 2 dogs and 2 horses at home.

Lorena Pulleiro Potel

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2012 in Veterinary Medicine and from the University of Murcia in 2013 in Master of Science Wildlife Management. Since then, I’ve been working in different wildlife rescue centers, mixed practices and doing as well some research in fish parasites.

In March 2015 I decided to leave Spain and live for a while in the beautiful green Ireland. As I was born in a small family farm, animals have been a constant in my life and this has leaded me to this rewarding profession. I rescued a lovely stray cat called Kevin few months ago, who make me really happy!
