Richard Knight

Veterinary Surgeon and Surgery Partner

I have worked with a wide variety of species during my career from domestic pets to farm animals, horses, wildlife, exotics and zoo animals.

In the last 5 years I have concentrated on domestic pets including exotics, my main interest being preventative healthcare and medical conditions and the their treatment and management.

Outside work I enjoy singing in a local community choir and relaxing with my partner and rescue cat Earl.

I qualified from Bristol University in 1995 and since then have worked in a number of veterinary practices across the UK.

Veterinary Nurse

I have been a Qualified Veterinary Nurse for 8 years and have recently joined the Vets4Pets Banbury team, this is a great opportunity for me as I have a very keen interest in exotics and we tend to see quite a few here!
I have been fortunate enough to have had many animals in my past including horses, chickens, ducks and some reptiles. At present I have two adorable dogs Tia and Portia and two wonderful cats Persius and Littlerain who are a very much loved addition to my family.

I've recently become a member of the Vets4Pets team as a receptionist. I've been lucky enough to meet some wonderful, bouncy pets and their people. I love to work with our clientsc and it is an added bonus to be working with their pets!

I have learnt so many things already and I enjoy helping all pets and people and continuing to expand my knowledge. Outside of work I enjoy long country walks with my dog Tia and then coming home to cuddle my cats!

I have recently joined the team at Vets4Pets Banbury as a receptionist. I have always worked in retail and really enjoy working with the public and now I have the added bonus of working with animals.

I am a SQP (suitably qualified person) so that I can dispense certain medications to the public.

I used to compete with my horse in endurance competitions but retired from that sport a couple of years ago and now have taken up dog agility with my Working Cocker Spaniel (Otto). We have just qualified for Crufts in the Novice Cup. I also have another Cocker (Fudge) who does agility...when he wants to.
