Nicole started training as a vet nurse back in 1991, but soon decided to go to university and became a qualified veterinary surgeon in 1998 and started work in the UK in April that year. She stayed with her first practice in the North West of England for 10 years and worked alongside a large team of vets and nurses covering four branch practices. She has always had a passion for soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and loves spending time in the operating theatre. Prior to opening Bedford Vets4Pets in February she gained the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Practice and completed the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery this year. Nicole has a Bengal cat called Danny, three chickens called Spot, Blue and Belle and a Jack Russell Cross called Dobby.

Koren, is one of our Veterinary Surgeons. After 6 years at Cambridge University, she qualified in June 2020 and joined us at Vet4Pets in July 2020.
 
She has a keen interest in surgery and internal medicine, but her favourite aspect of the job has to be kitten cuddles!
 
Koren has grown up in a house full of animals, including 4 cats, 1 dog and 3 chickens!
 
Koren has a cat called Hamster, who she rehomed after she was brought in with hind limb paralysis, after physiotherapy and acupuncture she has use of both her hind legs.
 
Outside of work Koren enjoys going home to Wales and seeing her family.

Wendy started her nursing training at a practice in Dunstable in 2006, she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in January 2009, and moved to Vets4Pets in July that year. She then became our Head Veterinary Nurse in April 2015.

Wendy attended a pet health counsellor course in 2010, focusing on nursing clinics and diets, Wendy runs our puppy parties which she really enjoys doing. On top of this Wendy's favourite aspects of nursing are running clinics, obstetrics and assisting in theatre. 

Her other roles include being a clinical coach and trains student Veterinary Nurses within the practice.

Wendy owns a large crossbreed dog Called Albie, who thinks he is a lapdog.

Natalie is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses and started with us in May 2018. Natalie qualified in July 2013 and has worked in various small animal clinics. Natalie has a special interest in Feline nursing, and has completed the ISFM diploma in Feline nursing in 2020.
Natalie has three cats and a Tortoise at home called, Tortoise, Patch, Jet and Tigger who Natalie rehomed from us as a stray.

Mel is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses and started with us in November 2021.

Mel started her nursing career straight from school and qualified in 1992, and has worked in a variety of Small animal clinics in that time.

Her interests include Canine Behaviour, training, nutrition and fitness.

Outside of work Mel is owned by 2 Chihuahua's and 2 Chickens, her hobbies include collecting, customising and painting model horses and working on her beloved car.

Hannah, started with us in May 2023 after studying Veterinary Nursing at the Royal Veterinary college in 2020, after completing a level 3 in animal management. Hannah qualified as an RVN in July 2023.
Hannah has a strong interest in anaesthetic recovery and emergency and critical (ECC) nursing, and hopes to complete an advanced certificate in ECC in the next few years.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys Swimming and Eating. But a-lot of my time is spent making puzzles and caring for my very spoilt hamster Monkey Nut

Her main interests are dermatology and canine health. Outside of work she is kept busy by her two young children and her Jack Russell.

Lorraine started with us as a part time VCA in August 2021.
She was made redundant in 2009 after 22 years at the same company and having volunteered for a local animal charity for many years she decided to go to Shuttleworth college to study a Btech level 3 in animal management. From this she worked at the college animal Centre looking after many species including lemurs, marmosets and porcupine. She then went on to be an ACA at a veterinary hospital for 6 years working night shifts looking after inpatients and assisting the vets with emergencies.

Jan's favourite aspects of her job are talking to the clients and making a fuss of their pets.

Jan has a Jack Russell Terrier called Starlet who is 7 years old and thinks she is a princess and a Rabbit called Diff.

Tracy, is one of our full time receptionists, is one of our longest serving members of staff, having started at the practice in July 2014.

She loves how varied her role is as no two days are the same, and enjoys customer service having worked in this field for her entire working life, but of course the most enjoyable aspect of the job has to be meeting the puppies and kittens in for their first vaccinations and occasionally hand rearing abandoned kittens.

Tracy has five cats of her own, two cheeky domestic shorthairs she hand reared from a few weeks old which she just couldn’t say goodbye to, and three stunning Maine Coons, who are all spoilt rotten!​

Lesley’s favourite part of the job is meeting all of our clients and their pets.
Her favourite animals are Springer Spaniels and Ginger Tom cats, she also has a hand reared cat called Saskue.

Leah is one of our full time receptionist who started with us in December 2022. Leah has completed a level 3 course in animal management and has been working closely with a wide array of animals for around 5 years.

Her favourite part of the role is meeting all of our wonderful patients and giving cuddles to our in-patients.

She currently has two quirky domestic shorthairs, but her dream is to own two strapping Dobermans and a beautiful Bengal!
