MT Begley Vets4Pets Belfast

MT Begley

Veterinary Surgeon and JVP

Having previously worked for Vets4Pets in Carrickfergus and Bangor I decided to take the plunge and open my own practice here in Belfast. I graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 and followed this up with an internship year in small animal studies at Edinburgh University. I have always worked in small animal practice and although I love all aspects of my job I am particularly interested in the treatment of animal cancers and all things feline. In fact I am probably in danger of becoming a mad cat lady with 4 rescue cats at home- Jeff, Brian, Tayto and Ormo. When not at work I can generally be found in a quiet corner with a good book or pestering my poor husband about getting a dog!

I am looking forward to providing top class care for all the furry and scaley inhabitants of Belfast.

Emma Kelly

Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Emma Kelly. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2011 and I worked in England for a year before moving back to Northern Ireland. I worked in a mixed practice for 2 years before deciding to concentrate on small animals, which led to me working for Vets4Pets Belfast.

I love getting to meet such a variety of furry  feathered and scaled animals!

I have a dog called Jasper who loves swimming in the sea and a cat called Arthur who loves to play with Jasper’s tail!

Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2006 from Greenmount College in Antrim.  Since then I have worked in a variety of veterinary practices in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.  I count myself very lucky that my career has allowed me to travel and work in different parts of the world.  Outside of work I enjoy hill walking and spending time with my dog Maisy.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, I'm Kelly and I am the Veterinary Care Assistant at Vets4Pets Belfast. I have a goldfish called Bubbles who is 13years old. Unfortunately I haven't got anything furry as I still live at home with my parents. I am a huge dog lover (especially the big doggies) and I plan on having quite a few. I love animals and hope to become a Veterinary Nurse. I love working at Vets4Pets. We see such a wide range of different animals and I get to help take care of them.

Hi, I'm Emma and I am the receptionist at Vets4Pets Belfast. I have a French Bulldog called Alfie who loves to lay all day and snore. Coming from the country I have met all types of animals little and large and I love them all! I have always had a passion for animals and I am over the moon to be working in a veterinary surgery.
