Amy  grew up in the United States having trained to be a vet there, qualifying in 2001. In 2009 she made the journey “across the pond” to move to the UK and has practiced here since then.  She has been with the Vets4Pets/Companion Care group working in Milton Keynes for the past three years.  As a resident of Bletchley she is thrilled to have her surgery in her own neighbourhood!

Her main interests include preventative medicine and geriatric care.  Her goal is to provide top notch customer service to each and every patient that she sees.

She treats each pet as if it was her own and strives to give the best quality care to her patients and clients.  In her free time she likes spending time with her fiancé, planting vegetables in her allotment, and travelling.  Amy has two very naughty black cats at home, called Bubba and Poppy.

Susie (Sabbatical)

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello, my name is Susie. I am one of the vets here at Vets4Pets Bletchley. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice in 2016. Kosice is Slovakias second biggest city and became my second home while I was living there. Originally I am from Norway.

I have previously been working in large animal practice, but my passion is for small animal medicine. I bought my little dog Odin over from Norway in 2017 and am so happy to have him living with me here in the UK.

In my spare time I like to travel and discover new places, I love skiing (as all Norweigians do), and I try to spend as much time with my friends and family as I can.

I am very grateful to be given an opportunity here at Vets4Pets, and I'm looking forward to seeing all your wonderful pets.

Dan Bletchley

Daniel

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Hello, I'm Daniel and I am a Qualified Veterinary Nurse here at Vets4Pets Bletchley. I started off here at Vets4Pets Bletchley, taking part in a work experience placement. During my time here, I was lucky enough to be offered a student nurse placement. I then went on to qualify in 2017.

I am particularly interested in wildlife and reptiles but I love meeting all animals. When at home, I enjoy spending time with my Bulldog Barkley and volunteer at my local Scout group that I have been a part of since I was 8.

I can’t wait to meet all of our clients in the time to come!

Katy Bletchley.jpg

Katy

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hello! My name is Katy, I started with Vets4Pets in February 2018 and I am Student Veterinary Nurse.

After studying for a degree in Animal Science, I spent 5 years working for the Blue Cross, looking after and rehoming dogs, cats and small pets.

In January 2017, I decided that I wanted a new challenge, and so I took the plunge and signed up to study Veterinary Nursing. I haven't looked back! I've really enjoyed learning, and I hope to qualify at the end of this year with the support of my colleagues.

When I'm not studying, I enjoy arts, crafts, and photography. On my weekends off, I enjoy traveling around the UK and am working towards my hang gliding pilot's license.

I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Steph Bletchley.jpg

Steph

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I'm Steph and I'm looking to start my studies as a Student Vet nurse in September. I have recently changed careers after teaching in primary schools for over a decade.

The time came when I could no longer ignore the strong desire to work with animals so I studied an Animal Care Diploma at a wildlife hospital and then went on to work as a cat rehomer for a charity.

Outside of work I love spending time with my 3 dogs and being creative: whether that be painting by numbers, sewing or indulging in my great love of music.

Candy

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, I’m Candy! I’m really excited to be joining Vets 4 Pets at Bletchley and hoping to start my vet nurse training in January 2019. After working in the world of finance for more than ten years, I decided it was time to make the career change I always wanted to and was lucky enough to start working for an animal rehoming charity.

When I’m not at work, I can usually be found looking after my two (rather clever) cats Max and Ben. I also like to be creative, whether that be through writing or crafting something, I’m usually planning out my next project.

I really can’t wait to get stuck in and start meeting all of our amazing clients and their wonderful pets!
