Amir Mohseni

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

I was born in London but grew up in Iran. After qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 1998, I moved Back to the UK and I have since been working in small animal surgeries all over the country. I've done an MSc in Controlling Animal Disease at the London Royal College in 2004 and passed my membership exam in 2008.

I enjoy all aspects of my veterinary work but my main interest is small animal surgery and also feline medicine. For this reason I am currently studying towards a certificate in small animal surgery and also a certificate in feline practice.

I am personally a cat person and have two lovely Maine Coons called Aslan and Bungle, both rescued. I enjoy working with any breed of dogs but I love Labradors.

I am so excited to be part of a great company like Vets4Pets and I am so grateful for being a vet.

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in North Mymms in July 2014 and after working in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire as a small animal vet for almost two years, I moved back to Hertfordshire and started working at Vets4pets Borehamwood. I have recently moved into a new home in Potters Bar with my boyfriend. We would love a dog in the near future but for now enjoy walking Luke's parent's chocolate Labrador who only lives down the road! We also travel down to Somerset on occasional weekends to see my parent's new pointer puppy Joe!

I have always loved animals and had many different pets growing up including Guinea pigs, rabbits and several dogs. I always knew I wanted to be a vet and love my job!  I am most interested in small animal medicine and learning more about complex diseases such as diabetes.

Head Nurse

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2010. I have worked in many different practices since then, including referral and exotic practices. I always wanted to work with animals and I still love it. I love all sorts of animals whether they're scaly or fluffy. I currently have a cat, a tortoise and a weimaraner called Pancakes who is full of energy and keeps everyone on their toes. I have a particular interest in canine behaviour and always want to learn more.

Veterinary Care Assistant

I have always had a love for animals and growing up I have always wanted  to work with animals. I have kept many pets over the years all of which have been strays and rescues. Currently I have a rescue cat and chinchilla.

I attended Oakland’s college where I studied a few animal care and animal management courses. I have worked as an animal nursing assistant in a couple of veterinary practices since and joined the brand new Vets4Pets practice in Borehamwood as a Veterinary Care Assistant.

I am hoping to go on and train as a Veterinary Nurse soon. I would also like to explore the subject of animal physiotherapy and hydrotherapy in the future.

Since childhood I have always had a love for animals. I spent the majority of  my childhood at the stables riding and helping out with the other horses.

I have only worked at Vets4Pets for over a month since the surgery opened. I worked in hospitality for 6 years before finally getting my dream job here at Vets4Pets! In the future I would like to train towards working with the animals as an Animal Care Assistant.

I currently don't have any pets at home as I still live with my parents but hopefully when I do move out I can get the Springer spaniel I have always wanted (and the tortoise too!)

Animals play a major role in my life and have for a very long time. I was brought up with animals (I have five dogs and they’re all a little family!) and all my family have animals too. When I was a student studying my A levels, I decided that working in the Veterinary industry was what I wanted to do as a career.

As well as personal I’ve had a range of work experience with animals. I have worked on a farm, on an Animal Campus at Oakland’s and had work experience in a Veterinary practice before. The dream is to become a Veterinary Nurse in the future, as this would be the most rewarding job! I always watch these Animal Rescue programmes and want to help so badly!

My Uncle has rescued a lovely dog named Tia who was abused so badly she lost an eye! But now she has a wonderful new home. I feel that working for Vets4Pets is a great opportunity and a big step forward for what I want to do.

I previously worked as a Patient Care Assistant at a veterinary practice in north London but have decided to take on the role as a Receptionist as I love to interact with the clients and their pets. I am looking forward to training as a nurse with Vets4Pets in the near future.

I was born and raised in North London and have always loved animals and working with them. I’ve had a wide variety of pets since I was young. I now own a small collection consisting of  my Shar Pei called Reggie, my three kittens Millie, Maisie and Toby, my rabbit Holly and last but not least my Tortoise Fred (Who is in fact a girl!).
