Andrew Chance

Veterinary Surgeon BVSc MRCVS OV/JVP

Andrew qualified from the University of Bristol in 1999. He is passionate about cytology and ultrasound, and has always enjoyed the challenging medical cases that no-one else can get to the bottom of.

He is very experienced at ultrasonography and cardiology and particularly enjoys these cases.

Veterinary Surgeon BVetMed CertSAS MRCVS

Tamsin qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1999. She has always had a keen interest in surgery and achieved the Royal College Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2009.

Having worked as the main surgeon in a large hospital practice for eight years prior to joining Eccleshill in 2012, Tamsin is very experienced in all areas of surgery and is happy to give phone advice or have cases referred to her directly

Marta qualified from Milan, Italy in 2007. She really enjoys consulting, getting to know both the patient and the clients very quickly. She is an Official Veterinary Surgeon, which means she can issue passports and arrange export certificates.

Francesca Connolly

Veterinary Surgeon BVMS CertSAS MRCVS

Francesca graduated from Glasgow University in 2004. She spent her first 18 months enjoying mixed practice before deciding to concentrate on companion animals. She has a keen interest in surgery and after five years of extra study in this area she achieved the royal college certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2012.

She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and was very proud to be nominated by her clients for vet of the year in 2011

Emily Taylor

Veterinary Surgeon MRCVS

Emily graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2010 and returned home to Yorkshire to work in small animal practice shortly after. She has a variety of small animal experience, having worked in both small surgeries and large veterinary hospitals; from treating common ailments to looking after critical inpatients and seeing emergencies through the night. Emily’s veterinary interests include internal medicine, critical care medicine and dermatology and she particularly enjoys getting to know clients and their pets through preventative healthcare.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and has a little grey cat called Princess, who definitely lives up to her name! Emily joined the friendly and knowledgeable team at Bradford Idle in October 2017; if you see her please feel free to say hello!

A dog because it is always happy to see you after you have had a bad day and they live in the moment

What pets do you have and what are their names?
A beautiful obedient west highland white terrier called Harvey

Radley because it reminds me of handbags 

What is your favourite famous animal?
Pink Panther because he’s pink 

What’s the best thing about working for Vets4Pets?
Is working for such a great company who are genuinely dedicated to what they do. A great perk to the job is cuddling all of the new puppies that visit us in the practice

My favourite animal is a cat because they think they are independent but are actually completley soft and needy! 

What pets do you have and what are their names?
I own 5 cats called Gibson, Maggie, Wallace, & Arthur 

What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
The funniest pet name I have come across during my time nursing is Rusty Willey! 

What is your favourite famous animal?
Eeyore 

What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
The best aspect of working for Vets4Pets is being part of a great team and meeting lots of lovely animals and their owners. I have a particular interest in surgical nursing and so you will most likely find me working in our operating theatre

Best pet name you have come across: Mr Bigglesworth

Fave famous animal: Lonesome George, he was one of the last pinta island tortoise, they were thought to be wiped out due to hunting until lonesome George was found.

Best thing about working for V4P: The friendly team & hugs with all the animals.

Alpacas - they're like pretty cartoons with their fabulous hair and eyelashes, and I love how they move and interact with each other.

What pets do you have and what are their names?
Two crazy rescue cats, Tiger Tim + Mo.

What's the best pet name that you've ever come across? Lucifer Peterkin.

What is your favourite famous animal?
Elsa the lioness out of Born Free.

What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
My lovely work colleagues, getting to know the clients and their pets and being able to see the animals growing up.

Pets that you have and names: I have a weimaraner called Sasha and two horses called Bobby and Adallia, also a Syrian hamster called Blossom.

Fave famous animal: Purdy and Pongo from the 101 Dalmations

 

Best thing about working for V4P: The team is amazing! Everyone is so supportive and helpful with my aspirations for the future, and of course all of the puppies and kittens.

Although cats & dogs are my favourite domestic animals, elephants are my all time favourites! Not only are they a symbol of power, dignity, intelligence & peace, they also bring good fortune!!

 

Pets that you have and names: I have an English Bull Terrier called Ruby, a black & white cat called mittens & an African grey parrot called Bobbi!

 

Best pet name you have come across: Bambino Cappuccino!
