Ilse Van Sittert

Practice Manager

I was born in South Africa and qualified there as a Chartered Accountant. I moved to the UK in 2008 and despite it being very different, I love it.  I enjoy helping Johan with the day to day activities of running the veterinary practice. In my spare time, I enjoy reading anything crime-related or watching Netflix.

I have an English Springer Spaniel Lulu, two cats called Eddie and Lily and two adopted rabbits called Bertie and Daisy.

Tomasz Iracki MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello everyone, my name is Tom and I am the newest member of Vets4Pets in Bridgwater.

I have studied and graduated from Warsaw University of Life Sciences in 2015. Since then I have been working as a Veterinary Surgeon in Poland until I moved to the UK in March 2016 and started my job in Burnham-on-Sea.

I joined Vets4Pets in October 2016 and I am already enjoying all aspects of the job. I have always had a passion for animals and am very pleased to be able to pursue a career as a Veterinary Surgeon. I am particularly interested in surgery and I would like to specialise in that area.

Outside the theatre I am dealing with day to day medicine cases, I am particularly interested in cardiology.

After work I share my free time with my fiancée Ewa and our 2yo Golden Retriever named Dexter. We really love long walks on the beach or in the forest after which we can come back home to cook together and watch a good movie.

Hannah Wilmott RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started working in the veterinary practice at the age of 19 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing and I have a particular interest in animal behaviour. In 2010 I obtained a COAPE diploma in animal behaviour and training. I really enjoy running our puppy parties and helping to prevent behavioural problems  from developing.

I also enjoy teaching student vet nurses and helping them through the training program to become qualified veterinary nurses.

I have a deaf lurcher called Isla, a cat William and a horse called Chaz. I enjoy looking after them all.

Philippa Kitch V4P Bridgwater

Phillipa Kitch RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I have been nursing for five years now and have been qualified since 2013. I enjoy all aspects of my job, but especially inpatient care, nurse clinics and puppy parties.

I am particularly interested in animal behaviour and wound management, and hope to further my knowledge in these areas in the next few years.

I currently have a cocker spaniel named Tilly and a Birman named Marley.

Joshua Cridge

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hello, my name is Joshua and I am a student veterinary nurse.

I have been working with Vets4Pets since March 2015 and am loving it. Before joining the Vets4Pets team I was a Salon Manager with the groom room so am professionally trained to groom both dogs and cats.

I have always wanted to work with animals and have studied hard to get my degree in animal management. I currently own a Newfoundland called Millie and a Miniature Pincher called Ruby, who keep me busy at home.

Vanessa Stone

Receptionist

I have been a receptionist for Vets4Pets since 2011, starting my journey with the company in Peterborough.

During my time at Peterborough I worked towards and achieved my NVQ in levels 1 & 2 customer service, and have also gained three in house gold badges for customer service.

But being a Devon girl it was time to go home to be nearer to family and friends, so we relocated to Highbridge and I transferred to Bridgwater Vets4Pets in 2014 and what could be better than a newly opened practice.

I have two cats, Daisy-May she is a white long haired, a very spoilt Turkish Van cross & I also have Rosie-Leigh a domestic short haired black girl.

I love working with animals and would give every cat a forever home with me if it were possible. I hope to start a feline bereavement course soon, which will be a benefit not only to the practice but also for our clients as well.

Every day is a pleasure to come to work and I always look forward to meeting all our lovely clients and their pets.

Receptionist

I am a Receptionist, my favourite animals are dogs, especially Labradors as they are so loyal and well-tempered. I have a cat called Oscar, dog called Holly and a Tortoise called Sid at home. The best pet name I have come across is Tippsy, and my favourite famous animal is Lassie of course! The best part of working for Vets4Pets is meeting our clients and their pets and working as a team.
