Benedetta Marinucci

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated as a Veterinary surgeon from Cambridge in 2010 and have worked for Swayne and Partners in Suffolk before joining the Vets4Pets team in 2013 initially as an assistant and then as Joint Venture Partner. I was born in Italy but have now spent twelve years in Cambridge.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially surgery and dentistry. She has two dogs, Fabio and Sybil, who like to help out (or hinder!) reception. In my spare time I enjoys running and reading a good book, as well as taking the dogs on muddy walks on Holkham beach.

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

I am Joint Venture Partner of Vets4Pets Cambridge Barnwell Road and Cambridge Beehive. I grew up in Guildford, Surrey and qualified from Cambridge University in 2008.  I went on to work at a small animal practice in Reading. From there I moved to Cork in Ireland where I worked at a small animal hospital with a high case load of emergencies and traumas which is where my passion for emergency and critical care developed, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. I moved back to Cambridge in 2012 when I started with Vets4Pets.

After a brief break to have my daughter, Evie, I returned as Joint Venture Partner in 2015 for both our Practices. My free time is taken up looking after my two labradoodles Humphrey and Cass. I am so excited about getting to work with our fantastic team again and look forward to seeing all our lovely patients soon!

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated in Italy and immediately after I joined the military service as a Veterinary Officer working with police dogs. I then worked for a few years in Rome before moving to the UK in 2008. After 6 great years spent in the Lincolnshire countryside I felt it was time for a new experience so I joined Vets4Pets in Cambridge.

I like dealing with medical and surgical cases with our small animals. Each of them is a new challenge to me. Outside work I love travelling (and being Italian obviously watching football matches!)

I am the longest serving nurse, having been with Vets4Pets for 12 years, 5  of which as Head Nurse. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse having studied for my Degree Qualification and have a strong passion for Anaesthesia and Critical Care. I have enjoyed going to Corfu on a couple of occasions to assist in the neutering of stray dogs.

Over the years I have collected an array of unwanted animals, with the latest count being 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 guinea pugs.  I am also a mother to three beautiful girls, which ensure that any spare moment is filled!

Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2003 whilst working at Vets4Pets Barnwell Road. Soon after gaining my qualification I had an opportunity to work in Bermuda  and lived there for almost 8 years working in a small animal practice, with a year in between volunteering at a charity run clinic in Thailand treating stray dogs and cats.

I returned to the UK in 2013 and came back to Vets4Pets Cambridge! My professional interests are emergency surgery and medicine and I believe there are few things more rewarding than being part of a poorly patient’s road to full recovery!

Out of work I have a Bermuda cat called Dibble. And all of my "spare time" is spent looking after my young baby, Henry!

Emma Crick

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2015 at a busy 24 hour hospital. I have a keen interest in surgery, radiography and wildlife. Along side my Veterinary nursing qualification, I also have a Level 3 diploma in animal management.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my soppy old Labrador Rolo, crazy cat Nala and my chickens. Most weekends myself and Rolo are out in my landrover off roading. I also enjoy travelling and I am planning on taking on Australia in the future.

I am a receptionist here at Vets4Pets Cambridge. I am new to the team after completing my Undergraduate Degree in Animal Behaviour. I am also currently working towards my Masters also in Animal Behaviour to further my understanding. I adore animals and seeing them everyday at work makes the day so much better.

My particular interests in animals is how and why they behave the way they do and in the future I hope to do some more research into this field and answer some of these questions.

I have been working here at Cambridge Vets4Pets for over a year now as part of the reception team. I have loved my time here at Vets4Pets and will become more and more involved with this wonderful veterinary team as my job role here will soon be changing as I am going to become an animal care assistant and will eventually begin my training to become a fully qualified veterinary nurse. My background is very animal based and I have always loved animals having grown up around horses and small furies such as; hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and more exotic animals as I also once rehomed a chinchilla.

I have a BTEC national diploma in equine management and also have my NVQ’s Level 1 and 2 in Horse care. As well as my animal based level 3 qualifications I also have a BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Behaviour. At home I have A lovely black and white domestic semi long haired cat called Captain (or Cappy for short) who came in as a stray to the surgery a little while ago and who loves lots of attention and cuddles, I also have a very large fish tank with four oranda goldfish.

I cannot wait to become more and more involved with this wonderful team where everyone is so passionate about animals and where there is such a great ethos and enthusiasm for everything that we do.

I’ve been at the practice since 2010.  I really enjoy my job as I love reception work and I adore animals.  As the first point of contact, it’s lovely to be able to welcome clients to the practice and meet their furry companions.

Having been here so long I have got to know the regular faces and its lovely to be able to share in their joy when their pets are doing well.  Some days can be challenging so I’m lucky to work along a hardworking and fun team.
