Lisa Kerr
MRCVS

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Lisa and I am the owner and Veterinary surgeon at Vets4Pets in Carlisle. I have wanted to be a vet as long as I can remember. It has been a lifelong dream of mine, nothing else was ever considered. I qualified as a vet from the Edinburgh Vet School in 2006 and I worked in mixed practice initially before moving on to work in an extremely busy small animal charity hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne for over 3 years. I wanted to open my practice in Carlisle as I love living in the area and we strive to offer a friendly, professional service with exceptional standards of care, to treat every pet as if it were our own. I love my job, it is my hobby not just my work and it always has and always will be an important part of my life. Outside of work socialising with friends and family is always high on the agenda, walking with my husband and dogs, keeping fit, playing and watching rugby and being at home with all my animals.
