I am very happy to join the great team at Carmarthen Vets4Pets. I come from a local farming background but in recent years have been focussing on small animal work, which I love!

I qualified from Glasgow last century (!) and since then have built up many years experience working in various practices around the UK and New Zealand. I have previously enjoyed working for Companion Care practices in England, so was very happy when the opportunity arose to work at a Vets4Pets surgery near my home.

Like everyone at the practice, I have rescued various animals over the years. When not at work I enjoy taking dogs Libby to the beach. I also enjoy playing music and run Lampeter Folk club.

Growing up with various types of animals – from fish to sheep – my interest and passion for animal care began at a young age and I’ve pursued it in studying animal care and animal management in college. This then lead to a job in Pets At Home, where I worked for just under two years, before gaining the opportunity to join the wonderful Vets4Pets team to assist in providing the sort of heath care and dedication for your pets that’s second nature to all of the staff in the practice.
