Vets4Pets Chadwell Heath

Meet the Chadwell Heath Vet Team

Cheryl Lucas
BSc(hons) BVetMed(hons) MRCVS CertAVP

Veterinary Surgeon and Joint Venture  Partner

Born and brought up in London, I was determined to be a vet for as long as I can remember!

My earliest memories are of playing with our family spaniel. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2009 and have worked in small animal practice ever since, mostly in London, but spent 4 years volunteering and working in Australia and South East Asia.

Having now settled in East London/Essex I decided to open Vets4Pets in Chadwell Heath in early 2014 and haven't looked back. I thrive on providing a fantastic service to our clients and the best possible care for all patients. My special interest is in surgery, and have recently completed an RCVS certificate.  At home I have an elderly Cavalier King Charles, Cerys and two rescue cats ''the boys'' Gordon and Bagheera. When I'm not working I can usually be found walking in the forest, at the gym or exploring overseas.

I am now part of the CBBC's Pets Factor Vet Team!

I graduated  as an RVN in 2008. Having spent 7 years working with animals I likes to have many pets at home - I have 3 dogs (Bailey, Stella, Daisy) and 4 cats (Scooby, Hattie, Billy, Romeo). I have also recently completed my dentistry certificate.

I am extremely excited to meet all the new clients!

Veterinary Surgeon

Growing up in the South African bush, I was surrounded by a pretty diverse range of species right from the word go, which is where I think I developed my passion for animals. I graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2017 and decided to make the big move down to London, so here I am!

I am one of those people that believe you can't just be a cat person or a dog person because I absolutely love both. I have a Flat-Coated Retriever called Kenco (named after the coffee) and an absolute prince of a Siamese cat called Milo.

Head Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified in 2010 from the College of Animal Welfare and have 10 years experience working in practice.

I always loved animals growing up and you would usually find me in the garden caring for my pet rabbits as a child. At home I have two dogs, Pedro a dachshund cross and Trudy, a Springer Spaniel. I also have two cats Logan and Lando and one Guinea Pig.

In my spare time I enjoy walks in the forest with the dogs, shopping and spending time with my friends and family. I am very excited to join the team at Vets4Pets Chadwell Heath and can't wait to meet all of the clients and patients

I qualified in 1995 and have over 30 years experience working as a veterinary nurse. I love all aspects of my role, particularly dealing with the geriatric patients.  I am an official crazy cat lady - at home I have 11 cats (all adopted or hand reared), two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and a rabbit called Bourbon.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner and sons and walks in the park with the dogs.
