Emma Hall

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Liverpool Vet School in 2005 and since then I have worked solely in small animal practice in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales. When the opportunity came up to run my own practice in my own neighbourhood of Chester I jumped at the chance.

I love being a small animal vet and I am particularly passionate about surgery. I gained my RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (General Small Animal Surgery) in December 2012. I am also an RCVS listed Advanced Practitioner.

Outside of work I enjoy walking Timo (my border collie), doing DIY with my husband and going on holidays abroad, especially to wine-producing areas.

Heather Greenwood

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started my nursing career in 2011 as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a busy 24hr small animal hospital, where I went through my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016.

I joined Chester Caldy Vets4Pets in opening week and I am the practice’s Cat Advocate for the Cat Friendly Clinic Programme.

I live with two cats, Pixie and Evie, and Lily a crazy whippet, oh and my soon-to-be husband. I like cooking, crafting and going on adventures with Lily.

Sarah Mclean

Client Services Coordinator

My name is Sarah, and I have joined Vets4Pets as a receptionist at the Chester Caldy practice.

I have always loved animals, specifically dogs, cats, horses and rabbits. I have a foundation degree in equine science obtained at Harper Adams University, while studying I worked part time at Goals Soccer Centres gaining valuable experience on reception

I have previously worked at several stables including competition yards where I have gained experience in animal welfare including using an equine therapeutic spa.

In my free time I like taking my German Shepard Cross and cat for walks on the nearby field.

Emma Woodvine

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I studied at Harper Adams University where I graduated with an honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and practice management in 2014.

I grew up in Crewe but have since moved to Ellesmere Port where I live with my boyfriend and hamster, Pepper Potts. I also have a Westie called Murray who lives with my parents.

I enjoy cooking, going out for walks and collecting all things Harry Potter and Marvel related.

Lisa Maguire

Client Services Coordinator

I have always had a love for animals and growing up with a variety of pets and attending horse riding lessons when I was younger made my decision that working with animals would be the perfect job for me. I have 3 cats, chickens and fish.

I studied Animal Management at college and then went on to study BSc Animal Behaviour at Liverpool John Moores University. I have carried out a variety of work placements with domestic and exotic species working in kennels, catteries, dog groomers and zoos.

During university I completed studies on Ring Tailed Lemurs for my dissertation and I have also volunteered in the Butterfly House at Chester Zoo.

Jay Weston

Veterinary Care Assistant

I have moved from Pets At Home Chester Caldy where I have worked for the past 12 years to Vets4Pets Chester Caldy as a Veterinary Care Assistant. (So if my face looks familiar - that's probably why!)

I’ve always wanted to work with animals. I have a National Certificate in Animal Management and a Foundation Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I currently own two lovely cats Lexie and Maisie, and two very cute guinea pigs Simba and Fudge.

When I am not working I am busy with my two little boys. In the future I hope to further my career by training to become a Veterinary Nurse here at Vets4Pets.

Val Farrall

Client Services Coordinator

I have recently joined Chester Caldy Vets4Pets as a Client Service Coordinator and am really enjoying working with such a friendly team.

It’s an interesting place to work, meeting the pets and their owners, and hopefully putting them at ease at what can sometimes be quite a stressful time for them. I love the funny names we all give to our pets; we've just adopted 'Steve' the Guinea Pig who has become the latest member of our family, along with Dogs Lola & Jazz, Cats Tom & Poppy, and Horses Scribbles & America!

Teresa Vicens-Prohens

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Barcelona Vet School in 2014. Since then I moved to the UK and I have been sharing my working time between small animals and wildlife animals all over the UK, from Hastings to Glasgow and now I have finally landed in Cheshire.

I dedicate most of my time working with British wildlife at RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre, but I do love a cuddle from all your lovely pets one day a week.

I am currently training for my RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Zoological Medicine) so I am focusing on wildlife and exotic medicine, which is why I am very excited to be working at this practice with lots of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rats.

During my time off I enjoy hiking, traveling and visiting home (Majorca).
