Vets4Pets Colne

Meet the Colne Vet Team

Colne Vets4Pets Helen Pratt

Helen Pratt BVSc, MRCVS, GP Cert SAM

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Qualifying in 1997 from Liverpool University, I spent my first years in mixed practice in Cumbria and Derbyshire, before concentrating solely on small animal work, and have been practising in the Colne area since 2008.

I have a great interest in internal medicine, and extended my knowledge in the completion of a General Practitioners Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2009. I have a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and dermatology.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with the hubbie and 2 daughters on the sheep farm with our 5 Border Collies, and intermittently annoying them all by playing the ukulele.

Hi I'm Ellie and I'm really excited to join the Vets4Pets Colne team. I've got a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, and I'm looking forward to extending my knowledge in this discipline. In my spare time I compete regularly in dressage with my ex racehorse, Sam McCloud.

My main areas of interest are weight clinics, parasitology and laboratory work. I have 2 rescue cats, 2 dogs and hope to have many more furry friends in the future.

Vicky Morley RVN, C-SQP

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I have over 10 years of veterinary nurse experience, qualifying from Myerscough College in 2004. I am most enthusiastic about the surgical side of nursing but also enjoy giving excellent nursing care to patients who have to stay with us for a short while. I also have a very keen interest in behavior and love running puppy parties.

I live with my fiance and when not at work, I look after our young daughter and am currently renovating our house. I have a rescue cat called Matilda, which I hand-reared from a few weeks old, two Dutch rabbits called Mario and Pip, a tropical fish tank and an aviary with cockatiels and quail. I currently don't have a dog but am looking for a rescue one to fill the gap...

Hi my name's Jayne. I joined the practice in July and  have a house full of rescues which include 3 crazy terriers and 2 cats . In my spare time I love exploring the lakes and am mad about open water swimming . My favourite aspect of nursing is in clinics so why not book an appointment and come in and say hi.
