Martin Cossey

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I graduated as a veterinary Surgeon from the University of Queensland in 1999 and worked in a mixed practice in Australia before moving to the UK in 2001 where I worked for DEFRA during the outbreak of foot and mouth. Since then I have worked in both mixed and small animal practices as both a locum and associate in multiple small animal practices. I have also worked for an out of hour’s emergency provider and since 2008 I have been the senior vet in a small animal hospital. I am currently completing a certificate in Emergency Critical Care through the Royal Vet College.

I have 2 dogs and a cat. I enjoy being outside, riding horses and experiencing new and thrilling things.

Veterinary Nurse & Partner

I began my career in the veterinary industry from a very young age, where I worked in a vet clinic. I continued at this small animal clinic until I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002. I went on to become the head nurse and Lead Assessor for that surgery. I then went on to work for an emergency out of hours provider, and whilst here completed Diabetic and nutritional courses. In 2008 I became a senior clinical nurse for an Animal Hospital, during this time I gained a Certificate in Emergency Critical Care, was nominated for Pet Plan Nurse of the year and received an award for Clinical Excellence. I am now currently completing a Diploma in Feline Medicine.

I have 2 Labradors and 1 Cat, I love being outdoors with the dogs and inventing new ways to entertain my indoor cat. Most of my spare time is spent with my pets or trying out new and exciting experiences with my fiancé.

Sarah Fougler

Veterinary Care Assistant

I've always had a strong love for animals having grown up with dogs at home and it is that passion that has driven me to pursue a career within the veterinary industry, working for Vets4Pets has gave me the opportunity to follow my dream.

In 2012 I graduated university with a BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Science and in the future I eventually plan to go back to university to study a second degree in Veterinary Medicine.

My hobbies include music and photography which means my spare time is normally took up travelling the country to see my favourite bands live and as a keen amateur photographer my camera is rarely far away and I can be usually found shooting family, friends, their pets or the bands I've gone to see.

Veterinary Care Assistant

I have great passion when it comes to animal care and welfare. After leaving school with my GCSE'S, I decided to pursue my ambition of working with animals. I went straight into college to achieve a National Diploma in Animal care and management, as well as various other qualifications in this field. This lead me to have a keen interest in Animal Nursing and Biology. Having worked in various different animal related jobs over 9 years, I found myself having great enthusiam for the Veterinary industry. Vet4Pets then gave me the opportunity to gain further experience and continue my career within the Veterinary industry. I would one day like to achieve my goal of becoming a Veterinary Nurse.

I have two dogs; an English bulldog puppy who keeps me very busy and a very active Miniature Pincsher.
