We have fully qualified RVN’s, and we are very proud of their high standards. We are proud to introduce Nurse Clinics, which will allow our patients and clients to make full use of the skilled nursing staff at the clinic whilst aiming to reduce waiting times. Our nurses have or are working towards additional qualifications in emergencies, nutrition, diabetes and feline medicine.

The idea of these clinics is to provide our clients with a friendly and familiar face, so you can feel comfortable discussing any issues involving your pets. The Nurse clinic's available are:

  • Pet Checks - (FREE as part of our health care plans)
  • Vaccinations - when seen by the vet for the 1st vaccine
  • Micro chipping
  • New puppy or kitten checks and advice
  • To discuss control of fleas and other parasites.
  • To discuss diets of all types, including prescription food.
  • Routine dental checks, and dental care advice.
  • Geriatric/Older pet Clinics- a basic health check
  • Diabetic Support Clinic
  • Administration of medicines (inc flea and worm treatment) which have been prescribed by a Vet
  • Basic training and behavioural advice for cats and dogs
  • Nail clipping for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs
  • Blood pressure checks when referred by the vet
  • Suture removal and post-op checks
  • Dressing changes
  • Weight management consultations for over or under weight pets
  • Tick removal
  • Ear cleaning
  • Routine blood sampling when referred by a Veterinary Surgeon
  • To discuss euthanasia- For when you need a sympathetic ear or a shoulder to cry on. We can explain the procedure and options available.

Nurse clinics are by appointment only between 9-10am, 4-6pm Monday to Friday. 9-11.30 4-5.30pm Saturday, 9-11.30 2-3pm Sundays.
