Colin Vets4Pets Cramlington

Dr Colin Skinner BVSc MRCVS

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

Colin graduated from Pretoria University in South Africa and has spent 38 years in practice, becoming partner here in 2008. He has built up a wealth of international veterinary experience having worked in South Africa in his own practice and across the UK in both small animal and mixed practices. He returned to Newcastle having worked here as a Temporary Veterinary Inspector in 2001/2 on Foot and Mouth diagnoses and control and subsequent farm re-stocking programmes. Colin's specialities include surgery, including orthopaedics. In his spare time he enjoys computing and photography.

Sadhana Brown Veterinary Surgeon Vets4Pets Cramlington

Sadhana Brown BVM&S MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Sadhana graduated from Edinburgh University in 1998 and joined us at Companion Care in 2010. She has a particular interest in medical cases. Sadhana has a German Shepherds called Carly, 2 cats and 3 guinea pigs at home. She enjoys taking breaks with her dog, reading and going to the cinema.

Katie graduated in 2013 and joined us here at Cramlington in 2015. Katie has 2 cats, Phoebe & Rosie, at home. Outside of work she enjoys cycling & hiking.

David graduated in 2015 and joined us here at Cramlington as a new graduate. At home he has 2 cockatiels called Zazu & Nala, and enjoys going to the gym, gaming and is a Formula 1 fan.

Emma Foxall Head Veterinary Nurse Vets4Pets Cramlington

Head Veterinary Nurse

Emma has been nursing since 2001 and joined us in 2010, becoming our Head Nurse in 2011. She has an interest in dog behaviour & training, and presents canine first aid courses. At home she has 4 dogs - Elliot, Bean, Alfie & Cherry, and 3 cats - Riley, Mackenzie & Theo. Outside of work she enjoys cooking & reading. She also has an interest in wildlife conservation after spending 2 weeks volunteering with rescued elephants in Thailand.

Vicki Withers Veterinary Nurse Vets4Pets Cramlington

Vicki Withers

Veterinary Nurse

Vicki has been nursing since 1998 and joined us part time in 2010. She has 5 Border Collies at home - Tipsy, Taff, Annie, and long term foster dogs Charlie & Ben. Vicki dedicates most of her spare time to her dogs, her home boarding service, and running the local rescue Helping Pets (North East).

Emma has been nursing since 2006 and joined us part time in 2012. She has a Springer Spaniel called Inca and a cat called Leon at home. Outside of work she enjoys baking, gardening and tending her allotment, and is also currently taking part in a beekeeping course.

Amy Emery RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Amy has been nursing since 2001, and joined us in 2015. She especially enjoys assisting with surgery and radiography. Amy also really enjoys nurse clinics and meeting all the patients and their families. At home she has a terrier called Millie. Outside of work she enjoys going for walks and picnics, and playing her fiddle in a Ceilidh Band.

Victoria Penaluna RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Vicki joined us here at Cramlington as a Senior Registered Nurse in March 2017. She began her nursing career in 2001 becoming qualified in 2007 and has a vast experience in all aspects of nursing, having worked in various roles throughout the North East including first opinion, referral and nights and emergency care. Vicki enjoys most aspects of all round nursing but is especially passionate about patient care and wellbeing, radiography and rabbits; she is currently studying for her Certificate In Nursing Of Exotic Species and due to sit exams this winter. At home Vicki currently has two dogs and enjoys dog grooming, art and photography. She is also active in rescue and rehoming, fostering and helping out with a local animal charity, Helping Pets North East.

Sue Emmerton

Nursing Assistant

Sue joined us at Cramlington in 2014. She has a particular interest in animal dentistry and is currently studying to be an SQP in the practice. Outside of work she enjoys trips with the family and fundraising for several charities.

Jude Bell CSM Vets4Pets Cramlington

Jude Bell

Client Service Manager

Jude joined the team in January 2013. She previously ran a home boarding business for dogs. At home she has 2 cats called Indie & Beau, and 2 dogs called Finn & Nellie. Outside of work she enjoys going to the gym, playing tennis and Bridge.

Gemma Naylor


Gemma joined us as a receptionist in 2010 after volunteering with us previously. She has a BTEC Diploma in Animal Care, a National Diploma in Animal Management, and is currently studying to be an SQP in the practice as well as completing a receptionist course. At home she has 2 dogs, Taz and Jet, and several African Pygmy Hedgehogs. Outside of work she enjoys movies and computing.
