Veterinary Surgeon

Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am one of the vets at Vets4Pets Dunfermline. Each day at work is different from the last and I enjoy helping such a range of animal species. I am really interested in surgery and I am looking forward to starting a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery this year.

Recently, I was lucky enough to visit a greyhound rescue centre in Madrid to help with their neutering programme. It was amazing to make a difference to old racing dogs that have been abandoned in the streets and it made me realise how fortunate I am to be a vet within Scotland and not have to work with such difficult conditions with limited resources. I hope to participate in more courses and charity work like this in the future and may even bring home a new family pet next time! I also have two 1 year old rabbits, called Hattie and Henry, who I fell in love with after they spent a short time being treated in the clinic.

In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym and going running. I also like to ski and snowboard and explore the Scottish countryside!I look forward to seeing you and your pets!

Natalie Waddell

Student Veterinary Nurse

Previously working within a veterinary practice as a receptionist, I became very interested in the medical side of the veterinary industry. My passion in life is caring for animals and a position become available at Vets4Pets Dunfermline for a student vet nurse. I am very excited to begin my studies in September 2018 and to learn and grow within Vets4Pets Dunfermline as my academic studies progress.

I have a beautiful Hungarian Vizsla called Mia and I love to go on long walks in new places and I get plenty of Velcro cuddles. I am extremely passionate about animals and I am so happy to be able to come to work each day to help care for them.

Nadine Royle

Veterinary Care Assistant

I grew up with a variety of different pets and going to visit the vets with them was one of my favourite things to do. I’m so proud to now work at Vets4Pets Dunfermline! I have my own cockatiel called Peepers, who loves nothing more than singing to everyone he meets. I have started as a Veterinary Care Assistant but next year I’ll be going to the College of Animal Welfare to begin training as a Veterinary Nurse, and I can’t wait!!

I already have a degree in Animal Biology and have a history of working with lots of different animals. My favourite thing about my job is getting to meet all your pets and playing a part in sending them home happy and healthy!

Louise Martin

Hello, I'm Louise Martin one of the receptionists at Vets4Pets Dunfermline. I have worked with animals for around 9 years and I love it. I am always eager to welcome all our returning clients and new ones too. I have two dogs at home, Charlie a 3 year old Great Dane and Woody a 10 month old Collie - both need a lot of exercise and keep me very busy.

In my spare time I love to read and to take my dogs to the beach and let them go crazy in the water. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Larissa Jackson

Hello, my name is Larissa & I am one of the receptionists here at Vets4Pets Dunfermline. I started working here in October 2014 & no two days have been the same! The most enjoyable aspect of my job has to be all the cuddles with the puppies and kittens and watching them grow up at each visit. Outside of work I enjoy horse riding and spending time with my family. I share my home with Nalah my 3 year old German Shepherd cross & my two very little but very opinionated rabbits, Puzzle & Bing.
