Struan Rafferty BVMS MRCVS

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

I was born and brought up in Glasgow and attended Glasgow University Veterinary School. I graduated in 2004 so I have over a decade of experience in small animal practice.

After graduation I spent a year as an intern in a referral practice in Essex before moving into first opinion practice in London. I spent the majority of my time in London working for a hospital-based practice where my duties included looking after the Metroplitan police dogs of south London. After leaving London I worked for 2 years in Aberdeen running a branch practice for a large veterinary group.

After leaving Aberdeen I spent a year working and traveling in Australia and New Zealand before returning home to open the Glasgow Forge practice.

I live in Glasgow with my girlfriend and my geriatric 3-legged rescue cat called Cheeky who features in the practice photos.

I enjoy the variety of small animal first opinion practice but I particularly enjoy discussing preventative health care with owners and dealing with skin cases.

Eilidh Clarke BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was brought up in Edinburgh but saw the light and went to vet school in Glasgow.

I graduated in 2014 and now live in Glasgow with my husband. I caught the vet bug at a young age and I've had pets all my life including 3 bouncing bunnies and one very well loved rescue terrier. Currently we're still searching for a furry friend to complete our little family.

If I'm not working you'll either find me singing, with my trumpet or arguing with a knitting project.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

Jennifer Laming RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Hi, My Name in Jennifer, usually known to everyone as "Jen" and I am one of the Registered Veterinary Nurses here at the Vets4Pets Glasgow Forge practice. I am admittedly a bit of a crazy RABBIT lady with 4 at home (Rocco, Rolo, Sasha & Isla), So walking past all those cute little baby bunnies in store everyday is a killer. I also have 3 dogs, a 10 years old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 'Heidi', a 3 year old Whippet 'Lily', an absolutely crazy Pug cross 'Lucy' and 2 Cats 'Ally' a 16 year old Ginger Tom and 'Paws' a rather chubby little Black and white girl who is 13 years old although still acts like a kitten when the mood takes her.

I qualified from the SRUC Barony campus in August 2013, which feels like a life time ago now, since then I have worked in a small practice in Glasgow and an out of hours service in Falkirk at the weekends, I loved both but jumped at the chance when the job came up here as I wanted to be part of something bigger.

I love the weird and wonderful, so if you have an exotic pet, then I'm your girl, the more unusual the better but still love cuddles from the pets who visit us and the VERY occasional slobbery kiss from the dogs.

Glasgow Forge Vets4Pets Lorna Green

Lorna Green RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Hi I'm Lorna, ever since I was little all I ever wanted to be was a Veterinary Nurse. I qualified in 1997 and have many years experience. I have previously worked in charity's such as Battersea dogs home and Wood Green animal shelters and also in a 24 hour hospital in London where I gained a wide knowledge of emergency, critical care and medical nursing.

I swapped looking after animals for looking after children for several years raising my own kids and fostering fourteen more. I have a menagerie of pets which include my German Shepard Dougie, my Bearded Collie Kerry and Fred the cat who suffers from asthma.

Veterinary nursing is my passion and I'm very excited to be part of the new team at Vets4Pets Glasgow Forge.

I love all animals, however if I had to pick, horses would be my favourite. I have been riding horses for 12 years and I love how they all have their very own unique characters (usually cheeky) and I love the bond that can be created between horse and rider.

I have two adopted rabbits who we have named after the very handsome Gerard Butler! I did have a miniature schnauzer for 13 years called Molly, she was my best friend so definitely deserves a mention.

I am really looking forward to getting to know all the clients and stealing cuddles from all your lovely pets!
