Greasby Vets4Pets Sean Dunne

Séan Dunne MVB MRCVS

Partner & Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from University College Dublin in 2001. After a spell on Anglesey and a year in Leicester, I settled on the Wirral in 2005. I joined Prenton Vets4Pets in 2012.

I felt the Vets4Pets way of doing things suited me quite well and I opened Greasby Vets4Pets with Matt Pope in October 2014.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary work both medical and surgical but have a special interest in dermatology. I hope to, when time allows, further my education in this area.

I live locally with my wife and son. I spend my free time chasing him around the various parks and beaches we are lucky enough to have here on the Wirral.

Matt Pope BVSc MRCVS

Partner & Veterinary Surgeon

My interest in animals began at a young age; it eventually led me to study veterinary science at Liverpool University. I qualified as a vet in 1994.

Whilst I have done my share of large animal work I decided to specialise in small animal practice. I have worked on the Wirral since 2001 and decided to open Prenton Vets4Pets in 2009.

Currently the practices take up a lot of my time but when I am not working I like to be out and about, either walking or riding my mountain bike. In winter I generally get away snowboarding.

Paula Hancock RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started my training to become a Veterinary Nurse in 2007 at a previous surgery and went onto Myerscough College to receive my Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, qualifying to become an RVN in 2013. I then progressed to become branch supervisor.

I have now joined the team at Greasby Vets4Pets and I am enjoying the new challenges and meeting all types of new and exciting animals. I look forward to getting my own animals in the near future.

Having achieved a First Class Honours in my Master of Environmental Science degree at Bangor University, I worked for the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency in Caernarfon, before joining the team at Greasby Vets4Pets as a receptionist.

I enjoy working with animals and have a particular passion for small furries, especially rats. My own pets include a white rat called Charlie, and a hairless rat called Max. I also have two Welsh border collies, Megan and Daisy, and Bud, who is our 23 year old California King snake.
