Dan Manda MRCVS

Owner and Veterinary Surgeon

Hello and welcome to Hastings Vets4pets! I graduated in Bucharest, Romania in 2009 and moved to the UK in March 2011.

During my years of experience I worked for different practices in Kent and South London as a permanent and locum vet, but only Vets4Pets have won my heart.

Our aim is to treat your pets and ensure we make that difference in their lives. Our surgery has all the latest technology, such as Ultrasound scanner with Colour Doppler, digital X-Ray unit, ECG, most advanced general anaesthetic monitoring equipment and blood machines, large comfy and separated dog and cat wards.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, therefore feel free to invite me for a game.

Claudia Cortez MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating in Spain in 2018, l have decided to create new experiences by moving to the UK.

Since l was a child, l knew that my biggest aim was to become a Vet. I love all aspects of my job and I have a special interest in Dermatology and Diagnostic Imaging.

In my free time, l enjoy going out with my friends, travelling and discovering new places. Moreover l love cinema and that’s why l can easily spend hours watching movies and TV series.

One of my dreams is to work in a Panda or Elephant Sanctuary, so l hope one day this dream will become true.

Student Veterinary Nurse

Having graduated university with a Bachelor of Science in Equitation Science, I decided to change and pursue a career with small animals. I have travelled and worked with competition horses in Canada and all around the UK, and have also previously been an ice skating elf at Lapland.

My only pets are fish, so be sure that your pets will receive a lot of attention from me, as the fish are not too keen on being cuddled.

When I am not working, I am usually travelling all around the country attending car shows and seeing friends, or fixing my heavily modified classic VW Polo. I enjoy challenges, I completed Brighton Marathon 2017 as well as a few halves. I have since discovered I hate running and prefer pizza.

Dee Zarrodeen

Veterinary Care Assistant

I started my career as a health care assistant, looking after terminally ill patients at the local hospice. I decided in 2015 that I wanted to finally follow my dream career and work with animals and I qualified in city and guilds level 3 diploma in dog grooming.

I hope I can one day become a veterinary nurse and continue to make awesome friends in the animal world- both two and four legged!

Before I joined the team I worked as a receptionist in the hair and beauty industry and whilst this is still an interest of mine, I much prefer working with animals!

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, going on long country walks and taking part in my local drama group's productions.
