Jonathan Grey
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
BVetMed MBiochem CertAVP(SAM) MRCVS
Jonathan's interest in veterinary studies began while he was a student at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he completed his Master of Biochemistry degree in 2006. He went on to complete his fast track veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London, qualifying in 2010. Jonathan then worked in small animal practice in St Albans and South Wales before moving to Cambridge, working for the Village Vet group for three years, where he met Gloria. Jonathan and Gloria opened Vets4Pets Haverhill in 2017 and Vets4Pets Saffron Walden in 2019 as Joint Venture Partners.
Jonathan completed the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2016 and was an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine from 2016-2021. His interests include management of complex medical cases, cardiology and soft tissue surgery. He is hoping to complete a certificate in Small Animal Surgery in the near future.
Out of work Jonathan enjoys running, listening to a variety of musical genres and drinking coffee!
Carlo Valente
Veterinary Surgeon
Isa graduated in December 2013 in Italy and started her career in a busy Veterinary Practice mostly treating companion animals. She developed an early interest in Radiology and Ultrasonography and completed a Masters Degree in Small Animal Imaging in 2018.
In 2019 Isa moved to the UK with her family for an exciting life and work challenge and joined the Vets4Pets team in 2021.
In her spare time she likes to cuddle her furry, squeaky guinea pigs, cooking, swimming and visiting new places, she also loves singing and has recently joined the Haverhill Singers Choir.
Leanne started her nursing career in 2012 in a busy practice in London working closely with the RSPCA both in practice and as a shelter volunteer. She loves most aspects of nursing but has a keen interest in anaesthesia, emergency and critical care.
Leanne is also one of our Clinical Coaches teaching all the future veterinary nurses everything they need to know and supporting them through their studies ensuring the next generation of nurses have the very best start in their careers.
In her spare time Leanne loves exploring the English countryside with her dog Odin who's a Lab x Collie x German Pointer!
Susan has been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2016, completing her training at The Animal Health Trust a specialist referral practice. Susan joined us in November 2020 after the Trust unfortunately closed due to Covid.
Susan has a particular interest in Internal Medicine but enjoys all aspects of nursing and enjoys the challenge that it brings. She provides outstanding care and support to the patients and clients especially when the outcome isn't the happiest one.
Outside of work Susan enjoys reading and trying to stay fit with pilates.
Anna joined the Haverhill team in 2019 to do her Nursing Assistant training which she completed in September 2021. She is now studying to become a registered veterinary nurse.
Anna is interested in animal behaviour and enrichment, nutrition and anything related to cats!
At home Anna has a very playful cat to keep her entertained although neigh the cat or Anna particularly like their photo being taken!
Ella joined Vets4Pets in September 2018 when she started her training to become a registered veterinary nurse, she is due to be fully qualified by the end of the year.
During her training Ella has found she has a keen interest in anaesthesia and working with our smaller patients such as rabbits, guinea pigs and rats.
On completion of her qualification Ella is hoping to further her education into exotics and hopes to gain experience working with animals abroad and zoo animals.
In her spare time you will find her on the stage entertaining us all or spending time with her two Boxer dogs Missie and Trixie and her Chinchilla Daisy.
Emma started with Vets4Pets in May 2021 as a Clinical Care Advisor after working as an Animal Nursing Assistant for another Veterinary Practice. In December 2021 she was promoted to Practice Manager of Haverhill and Saffron Walden Vets4Pets. Emma has an extensive customer service background having previously worked as Cabin Crew and for Essex Police, she has also spent a number of years working within the equine industry and has worked for two Olympic Medalists.
Outside of work Emma spends most of her time with her three English Springer Spaniels two of which spend a lot of time at Saffron Walden and are very popular with the clients!
If not with the dogs she can be found on the side of a football pitch watching her daughter play or supporting Cambridge United.
Vets4Pets Haverhill is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
