Hi I'm Julie I have worked in various practices in Yorkshire and am very pleased to have joined the Vets4Pets team. In addition our family includes Barney - our cavalier King Charles spaniel, Ollie the ginger cat, Ruby, Rosie and Mavis the hens and Benjamin the cockerel.

Vici Tissiman Hull Anlaby Vets4Pets

Vici Tissiman

Owner and Nursing Director

Hi, I’m Vici. After many years of seeing practice I started my career in the year 2000. I enjoy many aspects of the profession, particularly anaesthesia and clinical coaching but especially caring for all of our patients. I’m very honoured to be a partner in a practice with such a wonderful, caring and experienced team. Out of practice, I love nothing more than spending time with my husband and our daughter, as well as our cat Ludo and dog Rupert.

Barri Hamid Hull Anlaby Vets4Pets

Barri Hamid BVSc MSc MRCVS

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Hi I’m Barri. I graduated from Sudan in 1993.  In 1996, I joined Aberdeen University to start a master’s degree in Reproductive Biology which I was lucky to finish with a distinction.  I was awarded the diploma of the membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, London, in 2002.  I worked for the PDSA, Hull, from 2003 to 2010, where I have gained good experience in diagnostic imaging, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and dealt with a high load of medical cases.  I have worked for Vets-Now Hull as a senior Vet and for Priory Vet Group in Bridlington before joining Vets4Pets.  I enjoy all aspects of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, but have greater interest in surgery especially orthopaedics.  I have strong belief in continuous professional development which I think is essential to keep up with new developments and offer a good service to clients. I genuinely, believe in client care.  I have one cat that I acquired as a stray over a decade ago.

Hi, I'm Fran. I graduated in 2010, from the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria). I have worked in different hospitals and practices in Tenerife. Now, I have joined the Vets4Pets Anlaby team being my first job in England, I'm very excited with the experience. I'm very happy to be continuing my vet career in the UK.

Louise Waddy

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hi I’m Louise and I am a qualified Veterinary Care Assistant. I have worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant for nearly ten years at various Veterinary establishments. But I previously worked at the PDSA in Hull for nearly four years where I gained a lot of hands on experience. I am also a qualified dog groomer and in 2008 I completed my Foundation degree in Canine behaviour and Training. I am passionate about animal health, welfare and behaviour. Another one of my passions is small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. So when the job at Vets4Pets was available I jumped at the chance of being surrounded by small animals all day. In my spare time I enjoy training and walking my two dogs’ called Tiny and Trudy. I also have four Guinea pigs called Alice, Sue, Piglet and Doris.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi I’m Niki. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with animals since I left school. I started as an apprentice in a Vets in 2004 and I have not looked back. I have worked here at Vets4Pets Hull Anlaby since we opened back in 2013 and it’s great. I love to get stuck in to my job as a nursing assistant and I am also keen to learn new things. I keep busy at home with a husband and young son. I also have a lurcher and some chickens.
