Julie Farquharson BVMS MRCVS

Owner and Veterinary Surgeon

Hi I'm Julie I have worked in various practices in Yorkshire and am very pleased to have joined the Vets4Pets team. I am interested in all areas of small animal veterinary medicine and I am particularly keen to expand my experience in exotics. I have returned to practice after having my two little boys, Lochlann and Laythan who keep life very busy at home! In addition our family includes Barney - our cavalier King Charles spaniel, Ollie the ginger cat, Ruby, Rosie and Mavis the hens and Benjamin the cockerel.

Vici Tissiman

Owner and Nursing Director

Hi, I’m Vici. After many years of seeing practice I started my career in the year 2000. I enjoy many aspects of the profession, particularly anaesthesia and clinical coaching but especially caring for all of our patients. I’m very honoured to be a partner in a practice with such a wonderful, caring and experienced team. Out of practice, I love nothing more than spending time with my husband and our daughter, as well as our cat Ludo and dog Rupert.

Daniel Lyons

Veterinary SurgeonB VSc GPCert (SAM) MRCVS

Our veterinary surgeon Dan joined the team in 2016. Since then he has treated lots of cases, big and small. However, one of the cases that Dan treated really struck a chord with our team and that was a tiny kitten called Bob. Dan consulted, diagnosed and performed surgery on Bob which put him on the road to recovery. Not only is Dan talented but he is also extremely qualified, with both BVSc MRCVS qualifications. He is also currently working towards an advanced certification in opthomology with the RCVS which will be a fantastic achievement for him!

Louise Waddy

Veterinary Nurse

Hi I’m Louise and I am a qualified Veterinary Care Assistant. I have worked as a Veterinary Care Assistant for nearly ten years at various Veterinary establishments. But I previously worked at the PDSA in Hull for nearly four years where I gained a lot of hands on experience. I am also a qualified dog groomer and in 2008 I completed my Foundation degree in Canine behaviour and Training. I am passionate about animal health, welfare and behaviour. Another one of my passions is small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. So when the job at Vets4Pets was available I jumped at the chance of being surrounded by small animals all day. In my spare time I enjoy training and walking my two dogs’ called Tiny and Trudy. I also have four Guinea pigs called Alice, Sue, Piglet and Doris.

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hi I’m Niki. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with animals since I left school. I started as an apprentice in a Vets in 2004 and I have not looked back. I have worked here at Vets4Pets Hull Anlaby since we opened back in 2013 and it’s great. I love to get stuck in to my job as a nursing assistant and I am also keen to learn new things. I keep busy at home with a husband and young son. I also have a lurcher and some chickens.
