Kirstin Craig BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Partner

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2000 and have been working in small animal practices in Ayrshire since then.

I have been a partner at Vets4pets Ayr since 2011 and am excited to be part of the new surgery in Irvine. I aim to provide an excellent standard of veterinary care to our patients and look forward to meeting you.

I enjoy all aspects of my work but have a particular interest in all types of surgery and rabbit medicine. Outside work I enjoy riding my horse Obi and relaxing at home with my dogs Blue a red collie, Beryl the merle collie, Harry the rescue cat and my ever expanding collection of chickens!

Georgina Kyle

Practice Manager & Joint Venture Partner

Hi I am Georgina, I've been practice manager at Vets4Pets in Ayr for three years and I am excited to now be part of the Irvine team.

Prior to joining Vets4pets Ayr I spent nine years in retail management and feel very lucky to be able to combine my skills with my passion for animals.

Being in practice is challenging yet rewarding and no day is the same. I can often be found in our reception area stealing cuddles from our patients. I enjoy meeting and greeting our clients and patients daily.

At home I have a 4 year old Son Benjamin and a Ragdoll x Cat called Mr Boo, who I spend a lot of my spare time brushing! I am looking forward to meeting all our new clients and patients in Irvine.

Marion Ball

Registered Veterinary Nurse & Joint Venture Partner

I originally worked for Vets4Pets in Ayr where I qualified from in 2014. Since then I have worked at The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh where I got experience in all areas of the hospital through ICU, surgical/medicine wards and exotics.

I have also worked for local veterinary practices carrying out tasks such as monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consultations and patient care. I then started locum work mostly around Vets4Pets surgeries which gave me a great insight into how each individual surgery works.

I really enjoy running nurse clinics as I find them really rewarding and feel like it builds up a really good relationship with both clients and patients. At home I have 3 collies who I love spending time with and taking walks to the river for some fun.

Rebecca Jeffery

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from University College Dublin in 2013. I moved to Scotland and joined the Vets4Pets team in Ayr and Irvine in September 2017 after 4 years in a mixed practice in Northern Ireland.

I am really enjoying getting to know all of our pets and their owners, and delivering the highest level of care. I have a particular interest in the care of geriatric patients and ophthalmology.

When not at work I can usually be found in, on or beside the sea, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving or horse riding.

Claire McGeachie

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Glasgow University in 2015 and started working in Ireland shortly after. I have just returned home to Ayrshire after spending 2 years in Northern Ireland working in mixed practice. Although I loved working in mixed practice my passion lies with small animals so I am looking forward to being able to focus my time on both medicine and surgery cases.

At home I have a dog Tillie who I rescued from a local charity a few years ago.

I am excited to be back home and cannot wait to meet all our clients.

Veterinary Surgeon

Hi, my name is Maria.

I'm a new graduate vet surgeon from Spain. I moved to Scotland permanently in August and started to work for Vets4Pets Irvine and Ayr in January.

I'm very excited to be part of this awesome team of professionals and to be able to take care of your lovely furry friends!

I have 4 crazy cockatiels at home that get most of my off-work time and attention. When I'm not with them, I love driving around and visiting villages and parks in the beautiful Scottish countryside.

Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating from Glasgow Vet School in 2016 I worked in a small animal centre in Kilmarnock with a particular focus on emergency and critical care, before moving to Vets 4 Pets Ayr and Irvine in August 2017 to further build my skills in medicine and surgery. I have a particular interest in internal medicine and anaesthesia, and particularly enjoy working up challenging medical cases.

I currently live in Kilmarnock with my husband, black Labrador and rescue cat. Outside of work I enjoy climbing mountains with my dog and cuddling up on the sofa with a good book and a cup of tea!

Hi, I’m Kallie. I joined the team in Irvine in April 2018 but started with Vets4Pets Ayr a year prior to this. Before joining Vets4Pets I worked in hospitality for a few years and have found many benefits in combining my people skills with my love of animals!

Outside of work I spend most of my time with my friends and family, or looking after my brother’s 2 Miniature Dachshunds Poppy and Lewis, as I don’t have any pets of my own.
