Lenka Soffer DVM MRCVS

Joint Venture Partner

Hello, my name is Lenka Soffer and I am the Joint Venture Partner of the Letchworth Practice. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacology in Košice, Slovakia in 2010. After my graduation I moved to Israel where I lived and worked for five years.

I love working with small animals but if I had to pick one species to be my favourite it would be goats as my parents kept goats when I was a child!

When I am not working I love watching movies with my daughter, travelling and would love to try sky diving one day. I have three pets of my own; Bree the Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Bruno the Staffordshire bull terrier and Cous Cous the cat. !

Ayal Soffer DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello my name is Ayal Soffer! I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacology in Košice, Slovakia in 2008. After working in a veterinary clinic I joined the army as a vet in 2010.

I have worked for Vets4Pets since Oct 2015 at Luton Gipsy Lane and have recently moved to the Letchworth practice to work on Mondays and Tuesdays. I also travel around the country working as a Locum Vet so get to experience working in a wide range of practices.

I have two dogs and a cat at home who I love. At work I have a particular interest in small animals. In my free time I love travelling, cooking and spending time with my family.

Rafaela Silva Gregorio DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello, my name is Rafaela Gregório! I am young vet, recently graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon, in Portugal. I always wanted to start my career outside of Portugal and I am really happy to join the Vets4Pets in Letchworth, in 2018!

Being a Veterinarian is my dream job since I was 5. I always enjoyed being around animals and when I became a little older and went to college I found the deepest love for medicine… so veterinary medicine it’s actually the perfect combination. I love dogs and all kinds of animals, but I have a passion for cats.

At home, I have the silliest and cutest 5-year-old cat… her name is Sinapse and she is a total diva! Outside of work I enjoy watching movies and how they are made, reading and writing (I actually almost gave my parents a stroke when, at the age of 16, told them that I wanted to be a movie writer!). Artistic Roller skating is my beloved sport and I still like to practice it or coach it!

HeadVeterinary Nurse

I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2010. During that time I have worked both in general practices and at referral centres.

Prior to completing my veterinary nursing qualification I completed a degree in Animal Management and worked at a safari park, kennels and the college animal unit. I hope to eventually do conservation work abroad with Orangutans.

At home I live with my partner, our little girl Isla and our Border Terrier named Molly. In my spare time I love cuddling up at home with my family and spending time with my friends.

Jessica Johnson

Student Veterinary Nurse

I started working at the practice just after it opened as a work experience student whilst I completed my Extended Diploma in Animal Management at North Herts College. Since then I have progressed as a Veterinary Care Assistant and now I am studying at the College of Animal Welfare as a Student Veterinary Nurse. I have always wanted to work with animals so you could say this is my dream job!

I have four furry friends at home; Archie the whippet; Bonnie the Patterdale Terrier; Remus the jack Russell and Missy the lurcher. I adore sighthounds, they are so beautiful! I also have chickens and quail!

I can’t wait to finish studying and become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and I hope one day to be able to do conservation work with orangutans. In my spare time I love going to car shows and spending time with my friends.

Charlotte West

Head Receptionist

I have worked here at Vets4Pets Letchworth since June 2016, starting as a receptionist and promoted to head of reception in 2017.

I started working in vets from the age of 15 when I did work experience at school, and went on to study animal care, management and nursing at Shuttleworth College for three years.

I live at home with my partner, my son George, my naughty springer spaniel Gracie and our cat Maggie! I took some time out of working with animals and worked as an estate agent for a while but I’m now back doing what I love and love working with the team here!

Being one of the receptionists I think I have the best job in the world – meeting all sorts of animals and of course their owners! I have always been an animal type of person.

At home we have a beautiful kitten called Mr Cole who is thoroughly spoilt, in the past we have had a dog, cats and hamsters too.

So when you are passing by please pop in and say hello, it would be lovely to meet you and your pet!

Megan Pyle

Receptionist and Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, I'm Megan and I work on reception and as a Veterinary Care Assistant at Vets4Pets Letchworth. I have 2 years previous experience working as a Veterinary Care Assistant and did start my Veterinary Nursing training.

In the photo is my springer spaniel Dougie and at home I also have a daughter, Millie. In my spare time I love watching movies, reading, taking Dougie for walks and spending time with my family.

I love working with animals and hope to restart my training as a Veterinary Nurse in the future.

I have recently joined the receptionist team, I used to work in Pets At Home in the store so I have learnt lots of knowledge about animals and their care.

I have an extended diploma in animal management and I've always loved animals and have always wanted to learn more about them.

At home I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, fish and have had reptiles in the past.
