Liz Stockham
BVSc Cert SAS MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Partner

Liz has over 25 years experience, she has worked in small animal practices in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia after qualifying at Bristol University in 1990. She has a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, is recognised and has a keen interest in challenging surgical cases. 

Liz enjoys going rock climbing, running marathons and is a qualified Scuba Diving Instructor. She has 2 cats, Ellie and Popcorn.

Allison McGraw

Veterinary Surgeon

Allison qualified at the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2014. She moved to the UK in 2010 from St Louis, Missouri, USA. She joined us at Mapperley Vets4Pets in June 2015 and has a special interest in endocrinology and surgery. 

In her spare time Allison enjoys walking her dog, gardening and travelling. She has Bassett Hound called Hugo.

Jen Dykes

Veterinary Surgeon

Jen graduated from Liverpool University in 2011 and joined us in June 2015. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.

Jen enjoys sports, music and baking in her spare time.

Head Nurse

Fiona qualified in 2013 from Bottle Green Training and joined us at Mapperley Vets4Pets in April 2015. She enjoys doing nurse clinics, especially senior pet ones and hand rearing wildlife. 

In her spare time she enjoys photography and looking after her brood of pets. She has a Lurcher called Archie, 3 cats called Maxxie, Sid Vicious and Murphy, 2 ducks Daffy and Debbie and a rabbit called Dexter.

Jane Wilson

Veterinary Nurse

Jane qualified from Nottingham Trent University in 2011 and joined us in 2008 to complete her training and has been with us ever since. 

She enjoys crafts, baking, gardening and looking after her many pets in her spare time. She has 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Holly and Dan; 2 cats, Pebbles and Paris and also has chickens and fish.

Veterinary Nurse

Rebecca qualified in October 2015 from Hartpury College and joined us at Mapperley Vets4Pets in March 2016. She enjoys working at Vets4pets because she likes a challenge and has a keen interest in exotics. 

In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, knitting and sewing. She has a cat called George, 3 degus called Baxter, Wilson and Diego, 4 rats called Winston, Bernard, Norbert and Raymond and a one-eyed hamster called Harold.

Student Veterinary Nurse

Jess is currently completing her training at Bottle Green and has been with us since June 2014. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the lovely atmosphere and friendly and hardworking team. She has a keen interest in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. 

In Jess’ spare time she enjoys going for bike rides, reading and spending time with friends and family. She has a Jack Russell called Rosie and a lurcher called Bella.

Candy Alexandria Atkinson

Head Receptionist

Candy joined us in November 2010 and has gained a NVQ Level 3 in Business Management with the practice. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the lovely clients and their pets and the opportunity to keep learning. 

In her spare time she likes to go to local music gigs, art galleries and holidays with her family and dog. She has a dog called Parker and a cat called Capone.

Receptionist

Paula joined us in December 2012 after working as a PA in the fashion industry. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the lovely interaction with clients, their pets and the team. 

She enjoys socialising, walks in the countryside, keeping fit and travelling in her spare time. She has a rescue cat called Albert.

Receptionist

Mel joined us in November 2011 after working for 27 years in banking. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the friendly clients and banter with her work colleagues. 

In her spare time she enjoys eating out, going to the theatre, going on summer holidays and watching tennis and football. She has 2 cats, Joey and Blue.

Lisa Rushby

Receptionist

Lisa joined us in January 2016. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the fantastic friendly team to work with and the fascinating cases that we see. 

In her spare time she has a massive interest in military history of WWII and is part of a WWII living history group but most of her time is taken up running around after her son Lucas. She has one elderly cat called Smash-up face.

Sarah Cunningham

Receptionist (Maternity Cover)

Sarah joined us in June 2016 after working as a temp substitute teacher. She enjoys working at Vets4Pets because of the supportive team and meeting all the pets. 

In her spare time Sarah is an established artist who enjoys painting, drawing and photography. She is also an instructor and black belt in taekwondo. She has a rescue Cocker Spaniel called Bruno.
