Monish Malhotra JVP Merry Hill

Monish Malhotra MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon and Partner

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2003. I worked in the Birmingham area in small animal practice for two years before I began working as a locum all over the UK to gain experience. I then worked and travelled around Australia and New Zealand for 2½ years - this was an amazing experience which allowed me to gain invaluable insight into differing clinical practices.

I enjoy being a vet general practitioner, especially the close interaction and relationship between vet and patient. I love providing an excellent service to all my clients and patients - both old and new.

Outside of work I am a sports enthusiast, love to read and I am also a movie buff. My rescued Rottweiler, Beyonce, enjoys coming to work with me regularly!

Margarida Algarve MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the University of Evora, Portugal in 2011, with a masters degree in veterinary medicine. Since 2011 I have worked with both small and large animals and realised the good connect and bond between small pets and their owners, particularly dogs. I do have a particular soft spot for short snouts, more so French bulldogs!

I have a special interest in internal medicine and dog behaviour. I really enjoy radical sports. I was national champion of downhill in 2006 and I won the Portugal cup for two years consecutive. I feel very grateful to have become a part of such a close passionate team. I am very excited in extending my knowledge and definitely cannot wait to meet our clients and owners.

Oana Ruluca Stan, MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. I spent the following two years working as a veterinary surgeon in a renowned small animal practice in Bucharest.

This experience made me gain a lot more knowledge in internal medicine and surgery! It is a great pleasure for me to work in our Oldbury Clinic with such a great medical team. My love and passion for animals has become my work, that’s the reason I love this job so much. In my spare time I like to read, play tennis, to travel and spend quality time with my family. I am looking forward to meeting all owners and our pet-patients!

Liz Roberts Merry Hill

Liz Roberts BSc (Hons)

Practice Manager

I graduated from the University of Northampton in 2012 with a degree in Applied Animal Studies. I have previous work experience in other vet surgeries, RSPCA centres and I also worked at a local dairy farm. I have worked with Vets4Pets since early 2013 - splitting my time between this branch and our Oldbury branch. I love the variety of tasks I carry out, which include nursing, reception, administration duties and generally overseeing the running of the practice. I am also in charge of all the insurance claims put through at this branch.

I have a particular soft spot for both spaniels and collies as I have owned several previously. I also have a keen interest in dog behaviour and training. Most of my spare time is spent training and exercising my very intelligent, and very energetic rescue dog Molly, who is a four year-old springer spaniel cross Collie. I also own a very fluffy, rescued Norwegian Forest Cat called Cleo who is approximately 11 years old.

Zoe Davis

Receptionist/Animal Care Assistant

After completing a BTEC national diploma in Animal Management at Halesowen College, I started working at our surgery in Oldbury (Companion Care Oldbury) before moving to this Merry Hill branch. I feel very privileged to be working with such amazing team of individuals, I also enjoy interacting with the clients and their animals and maybe having a munch or two!

I have a particular soft spot for the larger dog breeds such as Saint Bernard’s and Mastiffs. I volunteered in the equine industry for over 5 years before getting a horse of my own. During this time I have also owned a variety of small animals, and currently share my home with my cockapoo Milo, 1 Gerbil, 3 Rats, and a cheeky English Lop who thinks he is a dog. In my spare time I enjoy having a relaxing day down the stables and playing pool on the weekend with friends.

Demi New.jpg

Demi Howen RVN

Head Nurse

I have been working at Vets4Pets since 2011 when I started as a student. I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Art and will be finishing my veterinary nursing qualification this year. I have had lots of involvement with animals including experience at farms and hydrotherapy centres.

I have a particular soft spot for staffies and a keen interest in reptiles and wound management. I thoroughly enjoy working with such a close team and building relationships with both owners and patients.

Danielle V4P Merry Hill

Danielle Turner

Student Veterinary Nurse

Danielle is currently training to be a student vet nurse at our surgery. She completed a diploma in Animal Management at Halesowen College in 2015, during which she did a year’s placement with us & gained a lot of experience with a variety of animals. She loves meeting all the wonderful pets owners that visit us and, like Zoe, enjoys munching the puppies!

Her large collection of pets has influenced a big love for animals, particularly the larger dog breeds. Her collection of pets includes Jo the African Grey Parrot, Niki the Akita, Cookie the Yorkshire terrier, and Sasha, Spencer, Merlin, Cody, Havoc, Ozzy, Eddie and Murphy the Siberian Huskies! Danielle and her dad love to race the Huskies and Niki the Akita over Cannock chase especially during the snowy months of the year. In her spare time she enjoys watching films, listening to music, & spending time with family and friends.

Beth V4P Merry Hill

Beth Golding

Student Veterinary Nurse

I am currently training as a veterinary nurse at this clinic whilst studying the Level 3 diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Halesowen College. I also did voluntary work at this practice for several months prior to starting my training which gave me more experience of a variety of animals. I am very proud to be part of the Vets4Pets Merry Hill team. I have experienced service from both ends as prior to starting here I was also a customer and brought my own dog to this practice & have seen that all the staff have the same passion for providing the best possible care and experience to every animal that visits us.

I have always had a passion for animals, so choosing a career path was extremely easy for me. In the future, I aspire to become a fully-qualified veterinary nurse, and hopefully own more animals! I currently live with my Shih-Tzu Oscar and my rabbit Charlie both of whom I adore!

Dom Allen

Animal Care Assistant

I previously worked at Pets at Home & during that time I gained hands-on experience with numerous animals, and completed several animal-related exams. This experience in the animal industry reinforced my natural passion for animals and made me want to pursue a higher level of training. I am hoping to return to college to train as a fully-qualified vet nurse in the near future.

I am an avid video maker and most of my free time is spent making short films and videos. I'm also a huge football and boxing fan. I've always had a huge love of animals which is shown through my large pet collection which consists of a Leonberger mountain dog, a Bengal cat, a rescue cat, two rabbits, two gerbils and a bearded dragon.
