Kevin & Annemiek D'Mello

Your practice owners and veterinary surgeons

We met in 2002 over a bitch spay in the operating theatre and have since lived and worked as vets in India, the UK and Australia. After the arrival of our twin boys in 2011 we moved back to the UK and set up home in the New Forest.

We opened our first Vets4Pets practice in 2013 and have since been job-sharing at work as well as at home! In 2016 the opportunity came along to open a brand new Vets4Pets practice in New Milton, close to our home. We have since swapped commuting time for family time whilst also enjoying increased flexibility to support each other at work.

I graduated in India in 1998 and worked for a UK based charity for nearly 10 years. I came to the UK in 2006 and gained my RCVS qualification. I have since worked as a small animal vet in Devon, London and Australia. In 2011 Annemiek & I moved back to the UK and settled down.

I joined the Companion Care surgery in Park Gate and Vets4Pets two years later. When the opportunity came along to open our own surgery very close to home we set up the practice in New Milton.

As a vet I have a special interest in dentistry and orthopaedic surgery. Outside work our six year old twins keep me on my toes and we have a dog called Sammie. I enjoy reading, music and a bit of (recreational) football.

Annemiek MRCVS DVM

I am originally from a small town in The Netherlands and have wanted to be a vet for as long as I can remember! I feel very privileged having been able to pursue my childhood dream to become a vet and to look after your furry friends.

After graduating in 2004 I started out as a vet in mixed practice. I now solely concentrate on small animals and have a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and cardiology.

Kevin and I Joined Vets4Pets in 2013 and set up the New Milton surgery in 2016. We have six year old twins called Oliver and Flynn, and a rescue dog called Sammie. They keep us busy outside work and whatever time is left I spend enjoying the great outdoors, pottering in the garden and spending time with friends.
