Paisley Vets4Pets Tracey Rushford

Tracey Rushford RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

My name is Tracey and I have been with Paisley Vets4Pets since we first opened in November 2010. It has been so exciting to be a part of the first Vets4Pets practice in Scotland.

I began training to be a Veterinary Nurse in July 2001. I spent the first 10 years of my career in mixed animal practice where I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse. During this time I also qualified as an A1 assessor allowing me to assess student Vet Nurses in practice. I briefly spent time working as an out of hours emergency night nurse, which helped me realise very quickly I am not a night owl!

I have always been an animal lover and from a young age worked in kennels. There  have been many pets through my door over the years, some stayed and some went on to their forever homes. A keeper is our old collie cross Sheba. Sheba was dropped of at my old practice as a 10 year old stray. 5 years later and she’s still with us! Alfie is my border terrier, almost 9 now, he has been very patient with all the waifs and strays to pass through our house over the years! My cat George, also has the patience of a saint (not to mention my other half!) he’s an old chap now, a lovely ginger and white boy.

I hope this lets you get to know me a little better! I look forward to meeting you all and having a good chat.

Paisley Vets4Pets Lesley Thompson

Lesley Thompson RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I am Lesley and I have been working in veterinary practice for almost 10 years now. Recently I have been studying to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse and only have my final practical exams to complete to become a fully fledged RVN.

I have always wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse as I have a great passion for animals and I do enjoy meeting new clients and their furry friends.

At the moment I have a beautiful border collie called Suzie and a gorgeous cat called Misty but I would have more if I could.

My main interests other than veterinary nursing are animal behaviour, training and holistic therapies which I feel compliment veterinary medicine very well.

Paisley Vets4Pets Stacey Dolan

Stacey Dolan

My name is Stacey and I have been Receptionist with Vets4Pets Paisley since September 2012.

Before joining the team at Paisley I was previously a PA in a project management company for 10 years, so working in a veterinary practice was completely different and very new to me.  I have learned so much in my time here and continue to learn, thanks to my amazing colleagues.

Although I have no pets myself, I do however have a 4 year old son (Logan) who keeps me busy when I'm not working!!

My favourite part of my job is chatting with our clients and getting a wee cuddle from their furry friends!

I look forward to seeing all of our clients and their furry friends old and new.
