Vets4Pets Preston

Meet the Preston vet team

Vets4Pets Preston James Rogerson practice manager partner

James Rogerson

I joined Preston Vets4Pets Ltd during our opening month of March 2009 whilst I was still teaching full-time (Performing Arts in case you couldn't already tell)! Having being invited by Andrew to take on the role as Practice Manager, I joined the team without hesitation hungry to take on a new challenge and to be closer to the shops! My background is highly varied and I've probably had every job you could think of during my "resting actor" days; based on those experiences I witnessed some diabolical examples of customer service and I always swore to deliver nothing but exceptional customer care. Our priority here at Preston Vets4Pets is to make every visit as stress-free and as pleasant as the last and if you ever feel we fall below this standard then please contact me on my personal email at

When I'm blessed with a day off, I can often be found stroking, feeding, cleaning and stroking my 10 cats a bit more, playing bingo with the Mother or taking myself off to the latest musical (if not starring in it).

I look forward to my next chat with you at reception over a brew - and if you fancy bringing me something a little special, I've taken an extra fancy to Spicy Teriyaki Deli Chips from the Booths store in Penwortham!

Chow for now.

Sarah Harrison

Practice Manager

Hi I'm Sarah, Practice Manager and I've been working for Vets4Pets since November 2011. I also work over at our sister practices in Preston Capitol and Lytham St Annes. I have two dogs, Gizmo a shih Tzu cross and Doris a Yorkshire Terrier who I gave a forever after home to after she was brought into Easterleigh animal sanctuary a couple of years ago. My favourite thing about coming to work each day is working with my fantastic colleagues that are like an extended family and seeing our lovely clients and watching their pets grow up. Whenever you’re passing, feel free to drop in for a brew and a biscuit

Corrine Ratcliffe-Bamber Client Care Manager

Hey! I’m Corrine. I’ve been working for Vets4pets since September 2014. I started as an apprentice receptionist and worked my way up from there. My favourite thing about coming into work is meeting all the clients and their lovely pets while trying my very best to help with any queries you may have. I have a red staffy named Kia- she’s very cheeky but such a mummy’s girl. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I currently have a slight obsession with Prison Break so my Saturday nights normally consists of a Chinese takeaway, glass of red and multiple episodes of this. I look forward to seeing you all in the practice soon. If you have any questions or wish to discuss anything further, please feel free to call the practice and ask for me.

Dan Pocora

I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2006 and since then have been working in the field of sales and distribution of veterinary pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and also in small animal veterinary practice. I decided to move in the UK last year and in the summer of 2015 I joined this great team. I have special interest in small animal internal medicine, ultrasound examination, soft tissue surgery and pain management. When I am not at the clinic I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing outdoor activities and also I like to travel to see different places, reading or watching movies for entertainment.

Lodovica Martorelli

Registered Veterinary Surgeon

Hello, I’m Lodovica, I’m originally from Italy and graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Turin, Italy in 2013. I moved to England in January 2015 and spent the first few months doing locum work until I found a job here at Vets4pets in January 2016. I love working within the team and find internal medicine the most interesting. When I’m not working I enjoy travelling with my partner, visiting different cities or going back home to visit my family and friends.

Holly Hay

District Senior Nurse

Hi, I’m Holly! I joined the Vets4Pets team in March 2016 as District Senior Nurse. I have been working in practice since leaving school and I first qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2009, going on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in September 2013. Continuing to progress my learning is an important part of my career and I am now studying towards a certificate in feline nursing. I love all aspects of nursing; however my main interest is within nurse consultations and inpatient care. I am also a clinical coach, which allows me to train and support the students in growing their practical skills and obtaining their qualification. I am originally from Hampshire and the majority of my spare time is spent with my husband Charlie enjoying various leisure activities, visiting family and friends and my two wonderful dogs, a Yorkshire terrier called Betty and a Patterjack called Sydney.

Josh Wollard

Registered Veterinary Surgeon

Hi, I’m Josh. I started at Vet4Pets Preston in May 2017. I graduated from Bristol in 2012 and since then have worked at a couple of practices in Derbyshire before moving over to Preston with my partner. I started my career as a Mixed vet but since then have decided to specialise more in small animals – I feel much safer off the farm! My interests are internal medicine and gastro-enterology. When I’m not at the clinic I’ll usually be walking with Rufus our labradoodle or climbing. I look forward to meeting you and your pets at the Preston clinic!

Jennifer Brundrett

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hello my name is Jenny and I have been a member of the team here at Preston vets4pets since March 2014 as a student veterinary nurse. I qualified in July 2016 from Myerscough College and I have now decided to continue on with my training to gain a Bsc Hons in Veterinary nursing whilst working between here and Capitol vets4pets full time. My future goal is to become a Clinical Coach so that I can help aspiring veterinary nurses to reach their potential. In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends as well as my three pets Bobby the cross breed, and my two rabbits. I am a sucker for a horror film and spicy if you can recommend any good ones that would make my day! I hope to see you and your beautiful pets very soon!

Chloe Walmsley

Hello, my name is Chloe and I am a student veterinary nurse here at Vets4Pets. I am on placement and started in 2015 whilst studying at College to get my Veterinary Nursing qualification. Although I don’t have any pets of my own I love coming into the practice and caring for all your little ones. I love learning about all different species of animals, especially hamsters and birds. In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema with my friends and reading fiction books. I hope to hear from you soon, Chloe.
