Lowri

Veterinary Surgeon

Spending time on my Grandparents’ farm when I was younger and having my own horses sparked my keen interest in animals. I went on to study Veterinary medicine at Glasgow University Veterinary School and graduated in 2002.

Since graduating I’ve worked in Companion animal practices mainly in Birmingham and at the Birmingham PDSA and RSPCA hospitals. I moved back to North Wales a few years ago and worked in a Companion animal practice in Llandudno. I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary medicine especially Soft Tissue surgery.

Recently I decided I was due a fresh challenge and an exciting opportunity came available here at Vets4Pets in Rhyl. My new colleagues have been very welcoming and I’m looking forward to meeting new patients and their owners.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and our family cat- Princess. I enjoy Pilates, horse riding and spending time on the beaches along the North Wales coast.

I've lived in North Wales all my life and started work as a trainee Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist in 1999 and have worked in 3 local practices both small and large animal. I love working in the veterinary environment, I love meeting and chatting to all our new clients and their pets.

My spare time is spent with my husband and 3 daughters (who keep us very busy). We have 2 cats; 18 year old Jacey and 5 year old Chester, we also have 2 dogs; 12 year old Star and 10 year old Fizz.

I've always been nursing and caring as I started off working in the NHS on hospital wards but I always knew I wanted to nurse animals and decided to change careers nearly 3 years ago and haven't looked back since.

Im very happy here at Vet4Pets Rhyl and look forward to meeting our lovely clients old and new.

Hello, my name's Louise and I've joined the team her at Vets 4 Pets Rhyl as a Receptionist. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003, and have recently returned to practice after a career-break at university and working in animal welfare campaigns. In my new role I am hoping to combine my life-long love of animals with my passion for administration! I have enjoyed meeting all the staff here and am looking forward to getting to know all our clients and their pets. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and walks in the lovely North Wales countryside.

Alison

Receptionist

Coming from a family of pet owners, my love for animals started at an early age. I grew up around dogs, cats and rabbits and I knew that one day I would have pets of my own. Having always worked in Administration, I have recently joined the Vets4Pets team as a Receptionist. I am looking forward to meeting all our clients and of course their pets too.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our two beautiful cats; four year old Misty and two year old Harry, both of whom keep us busy with their crazy antics! My partner and I also enjoy going for walks in the lovely North Wales countryside as often as possible.
