Jurgita

Veterinary Surgeon

Hello my name is Jurgita and I have always wanted to be a veterinary surgeon since I can remember. I have graduated Veterinary Medicine at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2014. During my studies I had amazing work experience in Ireland working at the equine hospital for 3 months and after graduation I wanted to try myself in zoo medicine so I have spent 3 weeks in one of the zoos in the UK, which was a fantastic experience. I started my career in Wales working with companion animals and when I moved to the Wirral I worked with horses and small animals. After 2 years of working in the Wirral I decided that I am ready for a new challenge in my career and have joined this amazing team at Vets4Pets Rhyl.

When I'm not working, I spend my time horse riding and training my two horses to do various tricks. I also love travelling and all the outdoor activities.

I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Jenny

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I started at Vets4Pets in November 2017 after having some time off to be a full time mum to my 2.5 year old twins. Before then I worked in a mixed practice for over 11 years, qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2011. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing and especially enjoy running clinics that we offer here, it is nice to meet new and old patients and their owners.

When I'm not in work my boys keep me very busy. We also have Izzy a lurcher that loves to come out on adventures with us and Turbo the cat who’s happy to sleep a lot of the day.

Carla

1st Year Student Nurse

I have lived in North Wales all my life and have had a passion for animals from young age. I have been lucky enough to be a part of the Rhyl Vets4Pets team since it first opened in 2015, where I began as a receptionist after spending 3 years at university. I have now changed job roles slightly and progressed more towards the nursing side of things. Most recently, I have started working towards a qualification in Veterinary Nursing and I am currently a student nurse here at the surgery. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job role, especially the daily variety and meeting all the patients - no two days are the same! Supporting the vets and other nurses, along with caring for all the patients and getting to know our clients and their pets are also things that make me love my job.

I am very much an outdoorsy person at heart, and so spend much of my spare time out and about with my English Springer Spaniels who come to work with me most days. Aside from this, I also enjoy quality time with family and friends, cooking and baking.
